NFLPA should start laying the groundwork to push for a strike to begin on Dec 12th (after the byes have passed and player has earned 13 game checks).
Off-season strikes are toothless. Most players can't afford to miss a whole season of paychecks. Threatening no playoffs and Super Bowl is the only real leverage they can garner.
The Networks would be losing their minds about potential lost revenue which would put even more pressure on ownership.
Now that's compelling television.
