How I Met Your Mother (1 Viewer)

The really rediculous part was they only needed $1500. That's probably 2 weeks rent on what they're paying to keep their room at Ted's. Selling clothes for $1500? They should have been able to scrounge up that in pocket change in their NYC lifestyle. $15,000 would have been something, but, $1500 is chump change... in a week a lawyer and a teacher should be able to find an extra $1500 in their paychecks. Maybe buy a $10 subway card instead of those $20 cab rides five times a day. Aren't we supposed to believe they want kids? Where are they going to get money for kids?

:lmao: I thought the same thing. I thought he was going to say "Fifteen....thousand."

They're not a lawyer and a teacher right now. Marshall has quit his job.Now, the entire Marshall and Lily's finances storyline has been pretty inconsistent as they've decided to keep the credit card debt, and the condo in Dowistropla, and have Marshall quit the job. But I don't particularly care about any of that stuff. I just care that this week was not funny whatsoever.

Britney is the most horrible actress I've ever seen. The producers need to remove her presence from this show ASAP.

There are probably thousands of better actresses who would jump at the chance to play this part. Why not give one of them a break? Why cram this horrible-has-been-trampy-skanky-etc broad into the part? She's had her chance, let someone else have theirs.

/rant over

As bad as Britney is - Paris Hilton is worse.

Also, Ted sold his brand new car and gave the money to Marshall and Lily and yet they still said that they weren't even close to having enough money? Ted must have sold his car at a HUGE loss for Marshall and Lily to say that $1500 was an amount that meant that they weren't even close to what they needed.Oh, and more Sarah Chalke and less Britney Spears please.

I'm unemployed, single, and haven't worked in 5 months, but if I had to get my hands on $1500 by next week, I could do it without selling anything and still be able to make rent and eat.

Britney must GO. This show doesn't need a gimmick no talent has been - Will Forte's new character from last week would be an awesome edition. For that matter, Marshal and Lilly can get phased out now that they're married and stupid and the show can revolved around Ted, Barney, Robin, and Barney's new wingman who gets a nose bleed every time he gets an erection. As versatile as Will Forte is, that character could really become something. Instead, we're wasting out time with Britney on screen. She's SO bad she can make Barney suck.

More "Their meat tastes delicious", less washed up no talent has beens....

Phase out Marshall? Hell...phase out Ted and Robin story lines long before they phase out Marshall...

I agreed up until this year, but Lilly/Marshal post marriage have been brutal.

Only read if you have seen the season finale
Who says thats their mother?
True - I wonder if the Scrubs pick up will affect their plansBut I think Scrubs is filming this summer
I don't think that is their mother.1. We know that Ted and Robin will be living together in a year. I say it's a roommate situation, but that would be odd if he is still engaged/married to Sarah Chalke.

2. Red Umbrella? It's supposed to be instrumental in the meeting, but they haven't mentioned it at all in relation to her.

My bet: The writers reserved the right to make it her (hence the St Patty's Day party reference) if they needed to, but she isn't the one in the original plans.

mytagid = Math.floor( Math.random() * 100 );document.write("

Looks like they might push for the Robin and Barney relationship. Looked like Barney was eyeing her when they talked about the things he loved, I hope he stays single, he has more freedom that way.

I doubt that Sarah Chalke is the mother, something might happen to off-set that. Its too early to have met the mother.*** SPOILER ALERT! Click this link to display the potential spoiler text in this box. ***");document.close();

Either way, im looking forward to next season.

Nah. Barney/Robin has been coming for some time.

Great job by CBS showing a commercial during the nerd show with Ted getting into an accident and Barney getting hit by a bus.

Don't they know how to use a spoiler tag?

Not only that, but apparently it started early too because my DVR missed the first little bit. I assume I caught most of the intro since I saw all of the important stuff, but it came on right in the middle of someone's sentence.Barney running out of his meeting and saying something to the Asian guys in their language, and the guy looking at the other guys and asking what he said in English was great.

They did start early, thats why I have a tendency to record the show before, and sometimes afterwards. They never seem to start and stop in that 30min window.When fast-forwarding through the previous one, I did notice the CBS promo, thats just awful. But I guess they didn't reveal the main plots.

Barney was good as usual...I hope they continue to keep him single although Robin is hot, but the Barney character works better as a womanizer and making fun of the crew.

BTW, as a Star Wars fan myself, I was glad to see it part of the episode, but it doesn't matter that my girlfriend hates Star Wars....as long as she doesnt talk smack about it.
