How I Met Your Mother (1 Viewer)

Lily's coworker (Eva Amurri, Susan Sarandon's daughter) is the stripper student from this season's Californication... worth checking out the videos of her if you can find them.

Best episode they've done in a long time, even if the Scuba Diver was completely predictable.

Not sure about the Robin meeting the love of her life angle at the end though, it's funnier when she's bouncing around from random guy to random guy just like Barney and his chicks. We'll have to see how it plays out.

Slap # 4 is coming...

The Thanksgiving episode with Chris Elliot (who plays Lily's Dad) is now being teased that it will occur somehow

I wasn't planning to bump this thread, as Slapsgiving II definitely didn't live up to the original Slapsgiving. That is, until the final commercial for Slap Bet: The Game. :coffee: :X :lmao: :lmao:

I did love the commerical, but I really hated they had to add the disclaimer

Sorry to say it but this show is starting to become not all that good. Just not very funny lately.
:goodposting: always has to be at least one
I like the show, just don't get the direction of it. There episodes are having less and less to do about meeting the mother.
I noticed that last night they didn't even start the show with him talking to his kids. Has this happened in the last few shows?

I've not read this whole thread, but I'll assume I'm doing my best :honda: when I say that Barney Stinson/Neil Patrick Harris = one of the most entertaining entities on TV right now.

I'd imagine the kids have now changed to much to keep using in the opening, except for the allegedly filmed final scene with the kids.

As a general matter, this is a good thing.
:lmao: why does anyone actually care who the mother is? it's just a premise. this show is all about Barney.

They filmed enough material with the kids at the start of season 2 to use for years. It's just them staring ahead and looking bored, mostly.

Yes, Lyndsy Fonseca and David Henrie look much different than when the show started. The daughter plays on Desperate Housewives and the son plays on Wizards of Waverly Place regularly. My guess is that they already have scenes filmed for when the mother is revealed, surprises and of course the normal looking bored.

Barney - NPH is the only reason to watch this show, imo. Its never been great TV, but it's worth watching due to NPH's acting.

Agreed. He's easily the best character on the show - as long as the writers keep him single.

It pissed me off that they didn't have Ted at least date Rachel Bison for a while so she could be a regular for a while. Since they're never going to have him actually hook up with his wife, she'll probably never be on again.
BREAKING NEWS: I SAW THE WIFE'S FOOT!
Was the foot credited? Well at least now we know she's white and has at least one foot, that narrows it down.
