Terrible last season that can't end soon enough.I called the pregnancy thing as soon as I saw Lilly with her bag headed into the car.

But why would someone bury a pregnancy test in a potted plant? Wouldn't one just put it back in their purse and then throw it away later?

Only 3 more to go. I read one interview where they said it was an 8 year plan, and I wish they would have stuck to that. This 9th year is awful.

I'm late to the party, last night was just awful, the jokes were lame and the serious stuff felt cheap.

Only way to right the ship is if we get an all female orgy with all of Ted's exes at the wedding ceremony. And throw in Ted's sister, Robin's sister, and the blond stripper from last season. Anything less and I will boycott HIMYD.

1. The show is actually called "How I met Your Dad."

2. The show is not actually a spinoff. Just reusing the concept.

3. The cast has already been named. Greta Gerwig as the lead, Krysta Rodriguez, Nick D'Agosto, Anders Holm, Andrew Santino, and Drew Tarver as the supporting cast.

I really thought we were done with those when that weird episode of Robin floating away happened about a month ago. Guess they needed to go to the well one more time. Other than that, was a pretty solid episode. Will be interesting to see how they wrap it all up next week.

Thought it was a decent episode but I can't remember the last time I have actually had a good laugh because of the show.Even the final slap was a huge let down and as was stated before did they really need to throw out the Ted and Robin angle one more time.It's like the dead horse they keep beating for the 1,000th time.

I will just be glad this disaster of a season will be over in what was a decent series up to this point.

IIRC, correctly, Robin got drunk one night and dug it up. Gave it to Lilly who hid it Ted's pencil box. Ted discovered it years later when everyone else had forgotten about it.

So Marshall and Lilly story line is pretty much done

Robin and Barney go through with the wedding...despite one last dip in the same dry well with ted and Robin - did like the ring bear though - not that I never noticed before but man is Robin flat...that wedding dress did nothing for her! I thought she was so hot the first few season but she really went down hill - seems like the show went out of its way to make her look unattractive.

So last episode should be all about Ted and the mother....about darn time....once again the mom nailed it last episode....the writers/creators really blew it on their under use of her....there is great chemistry there and she makes Ted much more likeable...should have had her as a major character the entire season rather than a bit player.

Finally does she live or die....can't see them ending the series on such a bummer....I'm going with illness but she pulls through - and maybe the kids dont even know about how serious it is which is why they acted so bored.....either way looking forward to the finale but not expecting it to be a great one.

Yeah, probably the most noticeable thing in the episode. Her chest shrunk along with the humor quotient this last season.

I really like the mother as well - she's really cool and wish she had been a bigger part of the show all along.
