How is your QBBC looking? (2 Viewers)

Roethlisberger looking like a straight up fantasy starter so far. Thanks to the guy who sniped Cutler two picks ahead of me...

Redraft: Brees/Eli - wasn't intended to be a QBBC, but probably will be.

Dynasty: Bradford/Freeman/Gabbert/Locker - probably just play matchups between Bradford and Freeman until Bradford shows me he can perform like I think he can.

I'm using the carousel of Flacco/Luck/Locker

Week 1 - Locker: would've ended up w/ a nicer day if he hadn't gotten knocked out

Week 2 - Luck: 224/2/0 & 21 yds rushing.

Week 3 - Gonna roll w/ Flacco at home vs NEP

Call me an equal opportunity guy, I guess. :)

Thought Big Ben/Locker/Ponder would be a QBBC. But it's been all Ben thus far, and I'm not sure what to do week 4 with PIT on a bye.

Mine certainly aren't help ing me but I am 2nd in total points through 2 weeks.

Drafted: Palmer/Dalton

dropped: Palmer for Wilson

dropped: Wilson for Sanchez

dropped: Sanchez for Wilson

Locker was dropped this week and is a possibility for a claim. I haven't done well picking the right guys but I still feel there are enough guys out there that I am OK if I start guessing right on matchups.

Didn't think Vick/RGIII would be a QBBC, but each has 1 start for my team so far. Playing matchups right now.

Cutler/RGIII is also working out considering I started RGIII both times.

Rivers and Locker was drafted as a QBBC, but given how horrible Locker has looked I might use some of my RB depth to try and get RG3.

Not exactly sure how these guys are QBBC except you over drafted in most leagues then as I would think of QBBC being taken after 9-10 QBs are off the board and you looking at guys who will put up single digit numbers for a 1/3 of the season. Also injury backup (manning) is not the same as QBBC in my mind you still looking at the end of the year of having a 50/50 split in starts usually.

Rodgers, Stafford, Brees, Brady, Ryan, Schaub, Eli, Rivers, Peyton, Romo

RG3/Luck/Freeman

Just like last year with Cam doubt I will start anyone else, I already dropped Freeman as I will roll with RG3 and hope for Collie to become healthy for Luck to take off in the 2nd half of the season.

I think the value is still there with Locker. They just need some kind of run game. Hopefully by Week 4-5 Britt adds another dimension and starts opening this up.

Think i'm going with Cutler this week. Seems to do better at home and during the day rather than at night.

I have Peyton/Vick and am thinking about offering one or both of them for RGIII. Which one would you value more and am I crazy?

Romo/Rivers here.

Week 1: Romo killed it for me. Won big.

Week 2: Rivers had no Gates & a bad running game so far, so I stayed with Romo (@SEA). Lost by six. :wall:

Week 3: Romo (DAL home opener vs TB); Rivers vs ATL. Tough call here.

Peyton/Cutler I picked the right one this week, but a huge difference in both of them from week 1 compared to week two. If I play the matchups correctly I chould be alright.

*I couldn't decide between could and should haha

I'm still struggling and picking the wrong QB in my ugly QBBC situation. Presently I am rostering Andy Dalton, Alex Smith and Jake Locker. Jay Cutler and Sam Bradford were just dropped and Mark Sanchez is out there too.

Who do some of you think might step up as the season goes on and become the more favorable options out of some of the QB starters that are in the bottom half of the league and may be available for the QBBC clubs out there?

My all-pout-squat Rivers/Cutler combo is stinking up the joint bigtime. Picked the wrong guy weeks 1 & 2 and the both sucked week 3. Ooof.

Well, my Manning/Rivers combo sucked. Dropped Rivers a few weeks ago, was able to grab Carson Palmer, who is now my every week starter since Eli Manning sucks monkey balls. Can't bring myself to drop him though.

Not feeling too comfortable with my Cutler / Vick combo!
I started the season with those 2.I traded Vick, Marshall, and McGahee for Rodgers and Decker before week 5.Then when Rodger's bye came up, I dropped Cutler (vs Hou) and grabbed a recently dropped Dalton (YAY!).Soo.. I can't complain.

Completely F'd.... Felt good till about the 3rd Quarter on MNF. I have Eli & Big Ben. So, for this week specifically, I have no QB

:wall:

I usually wait on QBs in favor of the best value on the board in RB and Wr, and try to scoop two middle/upper tier QBs in the late-middle rounds.

This was a tough year for QBs, to be sure, but in retrospect, might have been worth giving up a high value/solid depth RB and WR pick in these rounds for the consistency of reaching up for studs like Brees, Rodgers, Ryan and Brady (ranked in that order overall, 1 thru 4 in my main money league).

Mostly have Romo or Vick/Alex Smith in most leagues, trying to play the upsides of this combo. This failed miserably this year, needless to say -- while I am still solidly in playoff contention in all leagues with these duos, I feel I could likely have one of the best if not the best record in the league had I opted for one solid stud this year.

Vick/Romo -> Vick/Romo/Luck(via trade) -> Vick/Romo/Luck -> Vick/Romo/Luck

Not a good year for my QB position.

Lost big ben and vick. going with foles this week. need another qb for the long haul, debating locker and schaub, leaning the former.

This is 20-20 hindsight. It could just as easily have been Ryan or Brady going down with a concussion, and then what would you have said about that strategy?I drafted Vick / Palmer, Romo / Luck, and Newton / Flacco (via auction) in my 3 leagues, and I'm sitting at a combined 20-10. Not despite them, because of them - because targeting a bunch of QB10/12 guys and lottery tickets allowed me to grab studs like Jimmy Graham and A.J. Green in all 3 of my leagues, while people were reaching for Brady, Stafford, and Ryan (and then fighting over the low-end RBs as a consequence).Personally, I hope the "stud QB or bust" mentality becomes even more pervasive leading into the 2013 fantasy season. It'll make it even easier for me to jam my roster full of studs / up-and-comers elsewhere.

I've been rolling with Cutler & Fitzpatrick all year. I've luckily only had a couple clunkers playing the mathcups.
