I answered 4-8 but could probably do a few more but feel like complete #### an hour later.

How far can you throw a Ritz cracker?

I voted 11-12

I know I have the capacity for 17 plus if I really wanted to push myself, but I dont eat much normally and would probably feel ill from it.

Would be an epic duece the next day though.

I said 4-8, but I think I could do ten plus if there was money or something significant on the line.

17 Snickers would be 1.75 lbs and two days worth of calories. I don't think it would be a pleasant experience, but eating 17 of them would be doable.

If that math is correct I could eat substantially more than that. I ounce ate 7 lbs. of brisket in a contest with a buddy. We had to keep going until one of us reached 1 lb. more than the other.

If someone with a peanut allergy wanted to attempt this what candy bar could they sub in?
3 musketeers?
Would need to scale it in some way though. It's much lighter without the peanuts and caramel. Probably about 1.5:1.

Is your name Joey Chestnut?

Dude I voted 4-8 and it would be closer to 4 than 8. I am not sure I could scarf down 17 Halloween sized Snickers without getting ill.

Voted 4 to 8. I could probably eat more if I didn't pretend that I was eating a turd with each bite.

Adam Richman (Man v. Food) usually topped out at around 5 lbs of food in a sitting (maybe a little more or less depending on the food). Mere mortals can't hope to approach that, but half that seems pretty doable.

Then again I thought 10 taco bell tacos would be a pretty easy put away, nope.

Snickers bars weight about 2 oz.

2 oz x 17 bars = 34 oz = 2.125 lbs (not sure where I got the 1.75 lbs from above)

Its dense food and the sugar and chocolate would probably upset your stomach, but 2 pounds really isn't all that much food from a volume standpoint. It would be in the neighborhood of 4800 calories though.

I could put down ten Taco Bell tacos as an appetizer for the Snickers contest.

I, for one, would donate to a kickstarter to see a video of Woz attempting.

Of course I can only donate $5, but I'm sure someone can get Krista involved....

:goodposting: I get migraines if I eat too much chocolate. Just reading this thread is making my vision blurry. :X

I thought so too at one time. To the point that every morning since attempting 10 taco bell tacos I wake up and question myself.

(this happened about 6 years ago).

A snickers Bar weighs 52.7 grams. There are 453 grams in a pound or 8.6 snickers bars. Therefore, 17 Snickers bars weigh just under 2 pounds.

I could easily destroy this amount of chocolate and stuff in one sitting. It doesn't seem like that big of a deal.
