howdy y'all - it's been a minute (12 Viewers)

been too long since I've checked in here. We still doing this thing? What's the latest scuttlebutt?
I'm a proud Grandfather as of Wed but still ornery as ever

97% of the FBG community returns their grocery carts to the front entrance of the store even parked 6 blocks over
However none of those people live in Florida judging by all the carts I see tossed around at Publix

I missed the grocery cart thread, but I park near the shopping cart return corrals because I'm willing to put my cart back, but not willing to put out much effort to do it.

Congrats!

I always return my cart because I like to get a good running start and hop on it, pretending I can steer by leaning.

I've been honing my shopping cart leaning/steering skills for almost 50 years and am only moderately good.

It's that pursuit of perfection which drives all of us.

These threads always bring me joy.
It is nice to come back and see a lot of the same threads, the same icons, the same schtick. It's comforting, in a way.

First Off, How Are You?
God I miss this schtick.

I've been farting around on Reddit and some discord servers over the past couple of years and when I break this stuff out, it just doesn't quite hit the same.

Theres just something about seeing the genesis of long standing running jokes, knowing why this is funny, and how comforting it is to see it still being funny.
