Aaron Rodgers is already 4x the quarterbeck Brett ever was. I'm including his MVP seasons in this consideration.He's not only an unbelievable athlete, leader, and competitor, he is pretty damned cool under pressure considering the O-line issues he has.
Rodgers did not win the game last night for the Packers. Every Packers fan should be thanking Dom Capers and the defense for the win last night. Its a team game and it is sad anyone has to bring Favre into the fold in the run to the Super Bowl. Bitter much?smackdaddies said:

True, not much of a need to bring up Favre...but I don't think smack did it out of bitterness.As for Rodgers not winning the game last night? Well, he certainly was a big part of it.It was a team game and Rodgers was not alone in winning it...he had 2 great drives leading to TDs and after a poor pass, a good effort to make that tackle on Urlacher.But the defense was there for sure...and special teams was just huge. Matshay punting 8 times and getting 5 inside the 20 (close to 6 if Bush could have re-established his feet outside the endzone on the one).
I'm saying Rodgers shoudn't get all the credit. He didn't have his finest performance, throwing 2 picks (although 1 was fluke) and not producing much of any offense. I give him credit for going after Urlacher...as many QB's wouldn't have. But Defense and Special Teams came up huge today. Masthay was great. Hester was contained. A first half shutout was huge for the defense. They let up a bit when Cutler went out but they held together. Raji's interception was huge.My point was, people are going to try and use this game as evidence that the Packers made the right decision...blah blah blah. It has been clear for a long time GB made the right decision. Certainly this game from Rodgers, which wasn't his greatest, isn't suddenly the evidence we all needed to see that.
I don't think people are going to use this game as the evidence.I think they are going to use this postseason and getting to the Super Bowl as the nail in the coffin to this argument.It was less about the game, and more about where they get to go because of that win.
I think Farve was the most exciting qb to watch ever. Not the best, but lets call him the Barry Sanders of QBs. You watch him, and sooner or later he would pull off the most crazy #### thing you could ever believe.Went to a Packer game this year, did the Hall of Fame tour there - I was happy they have Farve there in the video and stuff. He deserves to be there and I think he should be recognized for his great play.I also don't romantacize him. He loved the game and he loves himself. He wanted to play more so he took it elsewhere. Favre lead a team to 4 division championships in the previous 10 years. Rodgers has not lead the Packers to any division championships, yet. Did the Press Gazette article say this as well? And, the defense won the Chicago game.

It's the gift that keeps on giving.The best part is how, if another QB throws a pick it's on them, but if Favre threw a pick it's a bad playcall, or bad blocking, or the receiver should have had it, or "he was trying to win the game". It never gets old.
