I am watching every Bond movie: please kill me (4 Viewers)

The next thing you're going to tell me is that Roger Bond and Sheriff Pepper weren't actually in the car

"I'm not watching ####ing James Bond tonight, you can kiss my ###."

Sounds like the movie is out but some kinky sex may be in the cards.
Bond: “I always enjoyed learning a new tongue.”

Moneypenny: “You always were a cunning linguist, James.”

The disco music during the ski chase is quite bad...laughable bad.

But one of the strongest movies in the cannon overall. Certainly Moore's 007 high point.

On to The Spy Who Loved Me.

Pretty sweet water house.
special effects in that ski chase, esp Roger Moore close-ups, are world class awful.
Have an hour left. Hoping to finish tonight.
Savor it because you won't see anything nearly as good for weeks of 007 time.
This isn't exactly knocking my socks off.

That sub car chase scene was so slow I thought Trent Richardson was involved.

I'm starting to think I've made a great mistake.

BOND POWER RANKINGS

1. From Russia

2. Goldfiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiinger (he's just too much!)

3. Dr. No

4. You Only Live Twice

5. Thunderball

6. The Spy Who Loved Me

7. The Man With The Golden Gun

8. On Her Majesty's Secret Service

9. Diamonds Are Forever

"The next one is Moonraker. They send Bond to the moon."

"Oh that sounds cool. Good!"

:oldunsure:
Thats gonna be tough to get through. Not as tough as A View to a Kill, but tough nonetheless.

SPOILER:

He doesnt get to the moon.
I have a lot of work ahead of me, but it has to be done.
Any last words Meester Bond?
"Why is alimony so high in this state?"
I suggest Die Another Day as your Valentine's Day date movie and working your schedule back from there

If Capella and Mrs. Capella make it through "A View To A Kill" with their marriage still intact we'll all know that's an unbreakable bond.

This weekend's ultimatum for Mrs. Capella: Moonraker or The Pro Bowl
She was shockingly into this tonight. When I asked why "I just want to get it all over with."

She really hates the 70s movies. Thinks she will be ok come the late 80s.

If I watched nothing but Bond movies and never left the house ( ) I would think all Asian people are evil, tremendous at fighting and slide really well when thrown across a long table.

They really have to replace Moneypenny. She looks like she's 97 years old now.
just 3 more movies.

by the last one the sexual tension seems really gross.

Roger and Moneypenny really should've left after for your eyes only

Moonraker is Bernard Lee's last film as M. His death would have been a good opportunity to retire Lois Maxwell's Moneypenny.

I'VE SEEN WORSE!

I......didn't hate this. Certainly didn't love it either. I feel like we're just filling out the bottom here though.

This was one of the better looking movies though. Less green screens, less terrible effects. Made up for some of the horribleness.

I don't think your top ranked films are going to face a lot of competition the rest of the way. There are a few that should challenge, but most of the remaining ones will be closer to the bottom than the top (at least that's what I think will happen). For Your Eyes Only is decent, but by my count there are probably a half dozen that won't make you top 10.

Yup. Thinking the same. Goldeneye and Skyfall have a shot. I loved Skyfall.

For Your Eyes Only is great, as are Golden Eye, Casino Royale and Skyfall. And you may like Dalton as Bond.
