Sounds like the guy is a #### or just plain weak, but there's not much you can do about it. I certainly wouldn't trust him in any stressful situation.

I think you're confusing what I'm saying.  I'm saying in the grand scheme of things, $100 isn't that much.  It's like 1 to 2 hours or so of me sitting in my office, surfing the internet.  I'm not lighting my cigars with hundreds, but I'm also not going to worry about it too much.

I get it.  I guess I haven't been clear.  what I was saying was half joke half serious point.  People can get weird about money for lots of reasons I offered one.  Second post was a joke on FBG and the average wealth of everyone here.  Of course you don't care about the $100 you are a FBG.  It is just the principle.

Ah, the old "Dude Works Up Something In His Head So Bad He Actually Believes It" deal.

The guy from the wreck saw you the other day and in his mind figured you were going to ask about your money and already had the comments booked in his brain to use the first time he actually saw you. Because of the way he responded, he (for no real good reason) already branded you as the office twanger because he thought you were going to be an twanger about your money (even though you weren't).

So basically he's already created this false narrative in his head and probably made himself pissed off at you because of his own mental weakness. And now he's probably spewing this self-made hate to others in the office about you.

You may as well change jobs - maybe even move to another city to get away from that jerk-wad.
