... any one thing, what would you pick? Imagine a genie gave you this wish, with one caveat - as long as it hasn't been picked by anyone else yet.

I'm going to go with "helping my wife find some stupid thing she lost because she didn't pay attention when she set it down and now she's acting like its a huge ####### emergency". I would be happy to split that one with someone as long as I get "and it was right in ####### front of her the whole ####### time."

Jerking off or thinking about things that would make me want to jerk off. I dare say that has consumed pretty much half of my life since I was 12. I have no idea what I might have done with that time but I would know post genie that I wouldn't be jerking off.

I might be a dentist by now.

 
Mowing lawns from the age of 9-16

When I look back at my childhood and my summers it really bums me out at how much of that time was spent mowing lawns. I spent a majority of my days mowing our lawn and then every neighbors yard that we could walk to.

I would love to relive those years but with the free time a majority of my friends had.

thought about this.. but i've gotten entertainment and plenty of good advice over the years.

I don't consider all my time here a loss... maybe 50%

Compared to Lost... some of the video games i've played when i didn't really enjoy them.... it's minor

 
TV, most of the time on the Internet. Probably waste 5-8 hrs a week easy. That's 260-416 hours a year. Could I have learned a new skill, a new hobby, spent more time with friends, family, kids?

i mowed a ton of lawns between age 12 and 22

it cost me time, probably didn't get as good of grades as I could have in college and dental school because i was mowing those lawns

But I got great exercise that kept me in good shape and always had a pretty good tan which always helps with the ladies.

I also was taught some good life skills as far as billing goes... and it definitely helped me really learn and value the dollar. I worked hard mowing those lawns for not a ton of money.

I don't regret mowing those lawns and I don't think you should either... nothing wrong with some hard work

The problem is if you had all that time back, how would you spend it? Skeet-skeet-skeet.

Same goes for video games. All that "wasted" time would have been wasted again.
