For the love of god don't do this. She wants an ego boost from you, and confidence you are still her backup plan as she heads off to see the PT. Don't give her that. Make her go see PT on a low ego, with no assurance at all you'll be there waiting.

Yes.Her response was that they don't have much in common, everything seems so superficial compared to our relatonship, and that he's hurt her more in the 6 months that she's been with him than I did in the 7 years I was with her. I asked her if he cheated on her and she said no. Didn't bother to press any further.

Totally reasonable. She thought the grass is greener, it wasn't and now realizes how lucky she was to have a guy like you. She really is confused and is unsure what she wants but knows you are a great guy

Like Evilgrin said, I was going to suggest that you go with her to help her move her stuff. I backed off because all I could think of was the PT opening a huge can of woopass on you. Don't reply to her. See what her actions (including texts/calls to you) are during her time in SoCal. Should be interesting.

You know what would be funny? If 16 posted a pic and it turned out Alyssa was 10x more SMOKIN than 16 let on, which would kinda explain some of the events in this thread.

Also, you asked many pages ago what makes a marriage work. TRUST! I fly all around the world for work, my wife also travels a lot. I cant imagine not having trust, worrying all the time what/who she was doing.

Why set yourself up for that life?

he'll bring her flowers and an apology card.he'll wait breathlessly for every call or text while she's gone. he'll be available to help her move the t.v., furniture, etc. to her apartment or storage when she gets back. he'll be with her at the friends BD party this weekend. he'll have blue balls when he wakes up [alone] the next day. he'll thoroughly enjoy his Labor Day Staycation with platonic footrubs after attending festivals. he'll forget to buy Rusty a Christmas gift because he was too busy moving in with Coralyssa.
