In-game injury thread (1 Viewer)

Just being proactive here for anyone wondering about the Charger game. Ryan Mathews is NOT hurt, just that Jackie Battle got the start over him and played the entire opening series.

TEN QB J.Locker down after a big sack.

ETA: Looks like arm/wrist. Still hasn't got up.

Locker sitting on the sideline in street clothes and a shoulder sling. Looks like he's done for the day.

They are doing a field sobriety test on Calvin and he looks ok.

The Lions on the other hand look to still be out of it.

A while ago but seems relevant. Leshoure looked to be favoring his knee after a catch and run. He got up, walked to side line but it's been Bell since

The Jets are saying that Holmes suffered a foot injury rather than a knee. No word yet on severity, though.

Greg Jennings may have aggravated his groin injury. He is standing on the sidelines with helmet in hand next to the team doctor. Meanwhile, James Jones caught his second TD of the day.

Not sure what thread is right bit Aldrick Robinson and Brandon Meriweather are inactive after getting injured in pregame warmupshttp://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap1000000067607/article/two-washington-redskins-injured-in-pregame-collision?module=HP11_headline_stack
Wow. Just showed the clip from pregame warmups on fox halftime show. Merriweather would have gotten a big fine for crushing a defenseless WR. Looked very brutal.

A Rodgers got his head jerked by a facemask (might be an eye poke). Backup QB came in and fumbled the handoff at the goal line. Rodgers is throwing on the sideline.

Rodgers got a finger or thumb in the eye and was taken out of the game for a goalline series. Meanwhile his replacement Harrell (sp?) tripped on the snap during first and goal leading to a botched hand-off to the tailback which was fumbled and ball given back to the Saints.

Major loss for Denver in JD Walton who was playing very very well to start the season. He broke his ankle today and is likely done for the year.

Why is the week 4 thread still pinned? And what the hell happened to Amendola (sorry week 5 question)?

Rams fearing a broken collarbone and long-term absence for WR Danny Amendola. Won't know full extent until more tests conducted Friday

The Sideline View's Adam Caplan reports that Danny Amendola has been diagnosed with a dislocated clavicle and is expected to miss 6-7 weeks. The clavicle is the collarbone, and there is "separation" between Amendola's chest and shoulder. While it's good news that Amendola didn't suffer a full fracture, he's not going to be available until about Week 11 or 12. The Rams figure to keep Amendola on the roster rather than place him on injured reserve because he's such an integral part of Brian Schottenheimer's short-based passing attack. Austin Pettis and Steve Smith are candidates to take over in the slot. The Rams need to start getting something -- anything -- out of No. 33 overall pick Brian Quick.http://www.rotoworld.com/headlines/nfl/243395/report-danny-amendola-to-miss-6-7-weeks
