Infinite New York football Giants (2025 same as it ever was) (2 Viewers)

So I DVR'D the game because I'm on the road visiting parents, and I'm reading the forum game thread....

I'm starting to be more and more convinced there are posters from a certain fandom that cheered Victor Cruz's torn patella tendon injury at Lincoln Financial.

Dont know how anyone can watch this game and not beleive that the NFL is involved inthis Gambling scandal
There is no sense even watching these games if there is absolutely nothing the Giants can do to win. Insanely badly officiated game.
At min this should have been a 27 -31 games
It's almost impossible to not call the Hurts fumble a fumble (+7 eagles)
It's almost impossible to call the Slayton TD PI ... 4th and 11 from the inside their own 10 ... even the comentators and guest ref agreed (-7 Giants)
That doesnt even take the BS fall start called as offside against Thibodeux (immediatley followed by a TD)
Or the ridiculous block in the back against the Giants
And the PI on Corey Black on 3rd and 11 that the commentors thought shouldnt have been called (reusult FG +3 Philly)

You doubted it? Man, I’m not even their natural rival (I did grow up a Giants, Jets, and Raiders fan and actually my main team was the Giants—long story how they aren’t anymore that has to do with some stupid pressure to pick one team, I guess, which is just crazy to me) and I just shake my head in disgust. At least one of them got clipped for a suspension today. Usually the board regulators kind of look the other way, which is their right, but man . . .

Anyway, that you would doubt that says a lot about your optimism, which is a good quality.

TE Daniel Bellinger (neck), RT Jermaine Eluemunor (pec), DL/OLB Chauncey Golston (neck), CB Paulson Adebo (knee), CB Cor’Dale Flott (concussion), and CB Art Green (hamstring) did not practice on Friday. Bellinger and Eluemunor are officially “doubtful” for Sunday’s game against the San Francisco 49ers. Golston and the three cornerbacks have been ruled out.

WR Beaux Collins (quad) and S Jevon Holland (knee) were limited in practice. Holland is “questionable” and Collins is expected to play.

****

Secondary is a mess. Wonder if we see Fidone get some game action this week, with Bellinger doubtful. Mbow possibly at RT for Eluemunor?

There is a solution I've been yelling for for years
FULL TIME OFFICIALS!
Not part time attorney's,teachers, grave diggers, truck drivers and whatever else these fine people work at 5 days a week
MLB...Full time officials
NBA...Full time officials
NHL...Full time officials
NFL....Hey there! You need a part time job?

When John Marra assumed control of The Giants Tom Coughlin was head coach
Since Coughlin's departure John has hired Ben McAdoo,Pat Shurmur,Joe Judge and Brian Daboll.
John has hired the following General Managers, Jerry Reese,Dave Gettleman and Joe Schoen.
Talk amongst yourselves

Can you really blame the season ticket holders for putting the tickets up for sale? Year after year after year? At some point it isn't worth the money and more importantly the time. This one isn't on the fans. Ownership could do something about this.

Probably should stop buying season tickets. The only thing the owners might care about is not losing money

Easier said than done when PSLs are involved.

This is sad.

Graham Gano is dealing with a neck injury that could keep him off the field and a torrent of abuse that too often follows him off it. The Giants’ veteran kicker said Thursday he’s been diagnosed with a herniated disc that is pressing against his spinal cord. “Had some nerve stuff going on,” Gano said. “Then went to the doctor and he said it was a herniated disc in my neck. … I had an injection yesterday on my spine. Hopefully that will start helping out.”

The 38-year-old said that he’s also been absorbing death threats from fans, with the Giants and NFL security having tracked threatening messages for over three years. He says the abuse spiked again after last Sunday’s loss to the San Francisco 49ers. Gano split two field-goal attempts in the game, missing from 45 yards shortly before halftime.

“I hear everyone else’s frustration, media, fans. I mean, shoot, ever since sports betting started happening, I get people telling me to kill myself every week,” Gano said. “Because I’ll hit a kick that loses them money. I’ll miss a kick, and it loses them money. It was the other day somebody told me to get cancer and die. I mean, that stuff’s part of it.”

I came in here to post about Gano. Insanity. They're not going up until game time, are they? If they do, I'd fire them right then and there for their inability to learn.

"Giants head coach Brian Daboll said at his Thursday press conference that the team is getting Koo ready to kick against the Bears because Graham Gano is dealing with another injury. Daboll said Gano reported a neck injury early this week and that he will miss his second straight practice on Thursday."

May miss his 21st game in the last 3 seasons.

What do we think this does for the Giants players in FF? Specifically Dart, and the offense
They're still pretty irrelivent, and Dart is injured and in general needs to change his style if he wants to play a full season some time. I don't think there's any NYG player right now who would be a starter in fantasy unless you're desperate, like with bye weeks and injureis.

Brian Daboll wasn't just the "hit OC". He was QB Guru Brian "the guy who turned Josh Allen into Josh Allen" DabollDaboll wants to take Jaxson Dart top-3. The GM only reluctantly lets you trade back into Round 1 to take him. Everyone laughs at you for taking him in Round 1. But now the kid looks like mini-Josh AllenAnd the Giants fire the HC and keep the GM.

Giants fans is this true? If so, then I feel bad for what I said yesterday and today.

Obviously taking Dart at 3 would have been a terrible Idea ... They got him and Carter in the 1st round and they had great grades by almost everyone for their draft .
I didnt love the Dart pick but turns out Dart at 18 and Carter at 3 is a great draft for the GM

I agree Schoen sux overall but so did Daboll and Bowen is the worst of the 3

Oh yeah, both of his last two drafts are really good, IMO and from what we know. I think It's just a little hinky that they're firing the guy that sort of was the impetus to trade back into the first round to select Dart.

I think Schoenand Dobol are both idiots. NYG will be better off with a new HC.

BUT .... I think the fact that Schoen wanted to keep D Jones over Barkley is why he is surviving. As bassackwards as that sounds. A solid QB is indeed more important than any RB. And since DJ is a success in IND in a way it justifies Schoen being sorta correct that DJ was good enough and the team could have won more with him if Dabol wasn't lost in space

The Bears being involved in a coach being fired isn’t news, but now they’re causing it for other teams? That’s the big story here.

They paid a bad QB $0 million and let go of an elite RB who wanted $13 mill. Fire Schoen into the Sun.

And please, you can polish a turd all you want but it's still a turd. Jones has many of the same warts he did as a Giant, they're masked by a MUCH better O-Line, better passcatchers, and he has another elite QB to carry the offense for him.
