Injury Speculation.......Way Off Base (1 Viewer)

First it was Andre Johnson, then Javon, then Ronnie, now MJD.

The Associated Press reports Jacksonville Jaguars RB Maurice Jones-Drew (knee) suffered a sprained left knee late in the team's Week 7 game. He left with 52 yards rushing off of 13 carries with one touchdown. X-rays taken were negative and he should be fine for Week 8.

How can you conclude that a guy who suffered a sprained knee should be fine by next week, a short week no less? The speculation regarding Andre and Javon was ridiculous.....once a guy gets swelling, i.e., fluid, in the knee, especially when it has to be drained, as in Walker's case, he's not coming back anytime soon. And with Ronnie, just because his knee was hurting at the time of the injury, how does this translate to probably not an ACL injury?........for which several outlets and posters in here were speculating.

Bottom line is knee injuries are pretty unique in most every case as guys don't twist the same way when they occur.......I would just like to say, please, out of respect to us all who don't appreciate too much misinformation, save the speculation when it comes to knee injuries, let the doctors give us the details. I think I'll trust them much more than fantasy fanatics.

Last night was ridiculous. I left with 3:00 left in the game, get home, nothing on the Breaking News alerts or emails....

Get on the forum and read one particular post..."With MJD out for the year, blah blah..."

:lmao: I was like HOLY ####### #### WHAT HAPPENED??????? Yeah too much speculation. Definitely scary business when talking knee injuries though.

I don't really get what your saying here. What is the point your trying to make?
That people who attempt to draw conclusions about ligament damage from x-rays should be hit on the head with a tack hammer because they're a *#######*?Edited to add:lol @ r e t a r d being #'ed out.
