Invisibles Quiz# 999 (1 Viewer)

Got 3, 4, 6, 7 & 8

3 & 4 are same series, different eras
6 was a lucky guess based on the setting
7 has been covered above
I had to look up the actual name of 8, but knew the movie

Took me a minute to figure out 8. I saw the movie but for some reason I was thinking military vehicle or Ghostbusters trap instead of train.

Got 2 through some google searches and getting lucky. It’s a recent movie with Cameron Poe and I believe the scene depicted isn’t real.

I keep think Beverly Hills Ninja for 1, but neither movie title worked and no clue on 5.

Reverse imaged the last 2. I've heard of #1 but never seen it and have never even heard of #5.
Thriller/drama about a mom and her psychopathic son. Stars the Ancient One.
Street racer video game adaptation starring Jesse Pinkman.

thanks for the hint on 5. I've seen it. it's ok. it actually has a decent amount of good actors ... Pinkman, Rami Malik, Michael Keaton, etc.

I have seen that as well just wasn’t memorable enough and I couldn’t get Heathers out of my mind so thinking more teen angst movies. I forgot Poots was in that as I’m a big fan of hers.

I don’t think I’ve even seen an ad or preview for 1. No chance I would have ever guessed it.

I will take any hints :) I am useless this week :)

The 4th movie from the director who like to have a twist/spin/surprise at the end of all his movies.

A 2002 remake of a 1986 movie. The actor on the right has played the main character multiple times, but not in the 1986 movie.

Recent movie where Carl Spackler is a grumpy old neighbor

Also, I didn’t see 2 mentioned. It’s a cult classic with a little Bull Durham and a little Clue.

Don’t know 1 and 5, but I did stumble upon 6. Never saw it and very likely never will, but it’s a very recent movie where the name of the movie is the name of the alien that crash lands.

I know I've seen the scene from #5, but I just can't place it.

I had to look it up but I think I found it

One of the stars is a young Natalie Portman.

Movie is written, directed and stared in by the same person (this is the person in the invisible picture)

2004

I had heard of it but never saw it.
I’ve seen parts of it, never watched it all.

#1189

first time I don't know any of them. :bag:
Got 3, 5 & 6.

Felt like 5 & 6 were pretty evident. 3 took me a bit, but I finally recognized the scene.
Cringeworthy comedy that spun 2 sequels. Starring Mary's boyfriend. This scene is about a nanny cam.
Very irreverent comedy using puppets. Created by Matt & Trey.
The most famous movie about being stuck on a tropical island. Starring the man with one red shoe.

I got those 3 too. Took me a few tries on 3 because I was going with Greg’s last name rather than the can you milk me one. I feel like 5 has been on a bunch of these quizzes before.

8 is exactly what you would call the scene and it stars two very famous singers. Legit singers not actresses singing. I’m sort of ashamed to say that I’ve watched the entire movie.

2 was total luck. I got Peacock for another thing recently (football too) and was keeping it for Oppenheimer. This is a very recent movie exclusive to Peacock taking place at a school and has a guy who likes wine in one movie and turned blue in another.

I guessed 1 as well. It reminded me of Steve Carrell, Will Ferrell and another and the latter it is. The book is good hint.

Damn, I saw 4 and 7. Been a long time on 4, so didn’t put together what that character was doing (Braveheart impression).

Guessed 1 as I was thinking a movie similar to one that just recently opened. Ma’s in it.

I hope most of you know 4. 3 is about the guy doing the getaway and 2 is an X-man in a recent Netflix movie. The rest I had no guesses.

#7 was a movie that I watched decades ago and will never watch again because of the scene being depicted here.

(Total blank on all the others, except that #3 is obviously a video game adaptation.)

#1 is one of my favorite movies (see my terrible avatar)
#2 was nominated for some academy awards 20 years ago. I didn't like it then, but old man softballguy probably would
#3 Nothing fancy with the name, just what you're looking at
#6 stars two of the more famous comedy actors from the 2010s. This might have been their worst movie though

I’ll admit that I actually enjoyed 6.

Only 1 I couldn’t get was 5. I have zero clue on it.
2 I got lucky on. It made me think of the country it takes place in and I love the main male lead. He only has one regret and it’s orange and likes lasagna.
8 was also 100% of a guess. Made me think of the Florence Pugh/One Direction dude movie which again, I have unfortunately seen and it’s almost a rip off of the movie from the 2000s which is 8.
4 was a decent “superhero” movie if you can call it that. Something, something double hockey sticks dude. Not sure if that’s a good clue or not.
7 was a decent old flick. We didn’t see Adrian though.

The helped me figure out #2

Francis Ford's offspring, won best screen play and was nominated for Best Director for this movie.

I can say this movie either went completely over my head or was extremely overrated....I found nothing interesting at all about it.

I only guessed on 3 of them (1, 2, and 8). It said I got one correct but it didn't say which. I feel most confident on number 8. I might have a guess on number 4 now that I look at it more.

OK I see, if I guess one at a time I can figure it out. I did get number 8 on first glance.

#1192

this might be a first ... I don't know any of them
Think about 8 again. I hope you’ve seen it before. Comedian big guy (dead now) was the catcher for the minor league pitcher seen here. Great movie staring a legend comedian who unfortunately is also dead.
Seen it many, many years ago. Didn't remember much about it though.
10 million, 10 million, 10 million dollars!

Who are you going to vote for? None of the Above!

This is one of my worsts. I figured out 2, but it took a bit so only 2, 4 and 8. I think this is one of those odd movie ones.

2 is a biographic movie about a singer. Add in the outfit and it’s an easier guess.

Got 3 as well. Searched for Wurlitzer and framed butterflies and it was one of two movies not from long ago.

The leads are Star Wars (prequel) meets The Matrix.
