I got 1, 4 and 5 because I’ve seen them and got ridiculously lucky on 2, 3 and 8.

2 is is a relatively new movie, but is the 4th in a series and people wear really funky clothes in the main city. The funky outfit and building/gold stuff made me guess it. Very lucky.

3 is a recent movie and it was an easy guess due to the woman and what she’s wearing.

4 is George Bailey in a thriller. Whenever I see pajamas and binoculars, I guess it.

8 was a really lucky guess. Something about the pink shirt made me think of that goofy English guy who had one of the most beautiful women on Earth and blew it for a not so good looking hooker. It took a few movie title guesses but I had a feeling it was him and it was.

Me too. They had action figures for the movie. Hard to give a hint because I don’t recall any of the actors and the title is the only hint. Something you probably don’t want to find in space?

another hint for 7 in case you don't recognize Rob Petrie. Rob was married to Laura, played by a young Mary Tyler Moore in a famous tv show from the 60's.

I “won” the vinyl soundtrack to this movie as a prize for memorizing the times tables in third grade. (The real prize was in not having to take part in the mini-tests the teacher gave for a few more weeks as the rest of the class worked on finishing up.

I guess a hint would be that the relative lack of success of this film is why Disney had to eventually buy Star Wars?

I got all but 6, 7. 5 was some lucky googling for Westerns with trains and 2 was a bit lucky as I only had two guesses and it wasn’t The Princess Bride, it was the famous swordsman.

1 had Kate Beckinsale in her prime.
