Got this one but haven’t seen it. I saw it on a coming soon (free!) on one of my streaming services so immediately thought of it knowing the roll of press in it from the previews.

A couple hints, the scene/kilt in 5 is a dead giveaway and 2 is a similar type of scene just a very different surrounding. 4 and 8 are probably the hardest because the guy shown in 8 is not the lead, but it’s the same lead in 6 and the lead is also not shown in 6. 4 is from a series that never was but had a TV show on HBO.

8 is a dystopian cult classic from the 70's. Don't focus as much on the character but more of what he is sitting in.

7 is kind of a darker super hero movie. One of the “friends” that went in the cave (where they got the powers) is a pretty famous actor that does Amex commercials.

It’s funny because unless you love Weird Science, you never see people refer to Bill Paxton as Chet from Weird Science. He’s not the star of 8, but I do remember the story with him.

Damn, not sure how I missed it but I just realized he died 7 years ago while looking for some clips of his scenes in that movie.
