Obviously I dont think so. I just think its sickening when people use the race card for their own pathetic performance. Dont understand Sheff's complaints. Torre tried his ### off to get him into the lineup late last year at 1B.

I think what's really going on here is that Torre treats different people in different ways. It may from time to time fall along racial lines, but I doubt you'll ever see Ruben Sierra or Bernie Williams say it was unfair.

I'm going to respectfully disagree with you here and not because Sheffield is a Tiger. I like Sheffield because he doesn't hold back and says it like it is. I think you can say a lot about Sheff to include that he might be somewhat racist but you cannot question his honesty. I've always liked him and always believed what he said to be mostly true. He's got a lot of opinions, that's ok with me because I do to.

I think if you look for something hard enough you are bound to eventually convince yourself you have found it. There are enough people disputing his claim about Torre and his comments about Jeter not being all black was ignorant. Cool thing is, we can agree to disagree.
