Asking someone to explain their post and back it up is trolling?Exhibit B. Trolling.
We have been through that before and it was wrong the last time that assertion was made.

Pretty scummyit's an echo chamber for the 75% of non trump supporters who happen to be any combination of liberal, democrat, independent, libertarian and conservative republicans. I don't know how many times this needs repeated.
And those of you in the 25% group who support Trump...congratulations in being in the same small group as nazis, Russians, white supremacists and fake news enablers. Great group you have going there.
Probably less than 25% since it's anti TrumpOdds he got benched for that comment?
This thread is a sad example of the brainwashing of America.
On every single page there are people calling Trump a racist. And his supporters racist. Or Nazis.
That would be as productive as us calling them pedophiles and rapists on every single page.
No basis in fact, only meant to divide.
It is understandable that some will not like Trump's tone. He is not a politician, he is a new Yorker. A businessman. A salesman. And a Patriot.
But to go on day after day, year after year, not accepting reality (you lost, for the time being Americans said no to your political persuasion) and screaming at the sky because you do not know how or forgot how to take a loss is just pathetic.
Trump approval is at all time high, higher than Obama's at the same point.
Heritage Foundation just released a statement saying that Trump has hit 64% of their 300+ targets, in year one. His policies are more conservative than even Reagan.
Trump is crushing it right now, despite the unprecedented hate and opposition from the Dems and MSM, an even some from his own party.
Yes this place is an echo chamber.
And as long as anyone is throwing around the word racist or Nazi they are no different than the storm front or antifa people. Just hate filled sore losers.

For what?Odds he got benched for that comment?
Now this is more over the line than urb’s comment...as it’s actually aimed at someone.Yeah, you and him are.
It's the same line actually. I don't think I crossed it.Now this is more over the line than urb’s comment...as it’s actually aimed at someone.
You made apost calling a poster scummy. It's the same line actually. I don't think I crossed it.
Apalmer called me scum so I called him it back? Not that hard to explain. You made apost calling a poster scummy.
How is it the same as claiming someone is aligned with beliefs of bad people?
Try explaining that...it’s not logical.
No...he most certainly did not call you scummy.Apalmer called me scum so I called him it back? Not that hard to explain.
And the under wins again...,,You shouldn’t take things so personally.
He’s trying to draw a charge.Apalmer called me scum so I called him it back? Not that hard to explain.
That's one way to interpret the meaning of his post. I took it as a direct shot at me.No...he most certainly did not call you scummy.
He called Nazis and so in scummy. He never once made that post towardsyiu it anyone in this board.
Again...this is an issue...people making false assertions like this to play the victim.
his post was that non-Nazi trump supporters and Nazi/white supremacists supporters (who I suspect all voted for trump) have their support of Trump in common. they both belong to the group of people that voted for Trump. I agree it was inflammatory and should have been worded better. But the underlying premise of his post is correct, as a factual proposition. That's one way to interpret the meaning of his post. I took it as a direct shot at me.

There is no response to steel tariffs. Such a dumb move, I can only shake my head. This discussion, and particularly the last absurd post by Bozeman Bruiser, just took an ironic turn. During the last 24 hours, Donald Trump just took the most momentous move of his presidency: imposing tariffs on steel and aluminum, and starting a trade war. What is the correct conservative response? Anyone who buys into American conservative trust of capitalism and free markets should be condemning Trump right now.
You must be joking. I got a mini vacation for waaay less. I think I was reported though ?For what?
He didn’t call anyone names...
I possibly have been as well. You must be joking. I got a mini vacation for waaay less. I think I was reported though ?
no thanks. Now imagine Jared Kushner was Chelsea Clinton's husband and Hillary was President.
Wat?Notice how those who support Trump refer to their opposition as liberals but those who oppose Trump almost never refer to their opposition as conservatives.
NOTICE HOW THOSE WHO SUPPORT TRUMP REFER TO THEIR OPPOSITION AS LIBERALS BUT THOSE WHO OPPOSE TRUMP ALMOST NEVER REFER TO THEIR OPPOSITION AS CONSERVATIVES.Wat?
It's pretty clear, read it again and then once more for good measure.Wat?
Lol okayIt's pretty clear, read it again and then once more for good measure.
Testing, testing.Don’t worry. You’re enough of a tool to get banned.
JFC.I possibly have been as well.
But the point was not to call someone names...but show that you get out in a group with those people who support Trump.
It May be crude...but there is a point to it.
Link to anything supporting either of those assertions?tonydead said:No only do they want their echo chamber, they are demanding they be able to insult people in it.
Don't forget if you post something they don't agree with they post their own opinions on it as fact. Then, they say, well we already proved that wrong.tonydead said:No only do they want their echo chamber, they are demanding they be able to insult people in it.
Care to show any example of this?Don't forget if you post something they don't agree with they post their own opinions on it as fact. Then, they say, well we already proved that wrong.
@Courtjester - would be interested in hearing the answer to this. I’ve said numerous times that I don’t think Trump supporters are all racist or evil and that’s because I know many and my observation is they are not. But I do take issue with people who support him blindly or in your case support when he’s been financially good for you. (And I’m not confident that is going to continue.)Why are you willing to overlook Trump's many faults because the economy is trending up, but were critical of Obama despite the economy trending up during his Presidency?
Sorry been a crazy week and I meant to respond to IE's post earlier.@Courtjester - would be interested in hearing the answer to this. I still don't know what Trump did to help our retirement accounts or property values. I keep hearing it but I have never given an example of something he did to directly affect it. The only thing I know he did was to not screw up something that was already trending up. I guess I can give him credit for that.Sorry been a crazy week and I meant to respond to IE's post earlier.
There is no disputing that Obama pulled this country out of the terrible mess left by Bush. I want to be clear I disagreed with many things Obama did, but I also agreed with some of his policies. I don't have a blind, partisan hatred of the guy. That being said, the country's recovery did not translate to everyone's recovery. My family's income was stagnant during his 8 years and in fact, when Obamacare became a reality, we actually lost money on a monthly basis. I had great insurance pre-ACA and whether as a direct response to it or Kaiser's greed, my plan became crap overnight. So there was no overlooking all of Obama's faults--the country's was recovering, but like many in the middle to upper middle class in this country, we were being left out of this recovery.
I voted Trump because I hoped he would change things and he has so far for us. Our retirement accounts are doing well. Our property value is soaring. The little "Trump money" we got last month was nice. My wife has been in education for over 25 years and she is criminally underpaid, but she got almost a $100 a month bump. We are not FBGs rich, so anything helps especially with a daughter in her first year of college. However, the biggest change for my family is both of our employers have announced that we will be getting substantial raises here in the next 3-4 months. These will be the biggest raises we have seen in 10 years. So yes, I am happy with the way the economy is trending as far as it pertains to my family and as such, I am willing to cut Trump a little slack at this point.
But AAA--you are spot on that this could all change in an instant That is why I put the caveat in my original post that I will reevaluate my position after Trump's first (and probably only) term, as to who I vote for next round.
brief, concise, & factual. great line. The last few pages of this thread would be a lot more interesting if they didn’t exist.
I think the biggest impact he's had is in reducing the cost of doing business by removing regulations so companies and markets see this as an opportunity to realize higher profits.I still don't know what Trump did to help our retirement accounts or property values. I keep hearing it but I have never given an example of something he did to directly affect it. The only thing I know he did was to not screw up something that was already trending up.
