When Mike Vick came out of college everyone knew he was fast. He ran like a 4.25{http://www.hokiesports.com/huddler/archive/0382000aaa.html} He was fast even by a running back standard. Ill be the first to admit Vince Young is fast, but is he fast enough. What ever team he is drafted to will have a crap o-line and he will need to run from them. That i think is all he is fast enough to do.When Qb's adjust to the NFL it is all about how qucik the game is. Is Vince Young fast enough to line up and run an option and escape being hit by elite DE's like OSI UMENYIORA and Julies Peppers. Or Lb's Zack Thomas and Jonathan Vilma. I personally do not think he is fast enough. I think he will be drafted third overall after Leinart and his speed will be the part of his game that deos not sussed in the NFL. And even if he is fast enough, Mike Vick is no the Qb leading his team to a 14-2 season.

Anyway, this depends on how you are expecting VY to play. Is he fast enough to do waht he did in college? Heck no, not even close. Is he fast enough to be one of the very best running QBs in the NFL? Sure he is. VY has deceptive speed do to a smooth motion and his size. None of that will matter unless he gets the speed of he ability to read defenses down though.
