Isaiah Crowell (5 Viewers)

Crow is probably in the top 3 of RBs for ROS due the perfect storm of talent, Gordon's return, and remaining schedule. I only prefer Charles and L. Bell at this point. Maybe Lynch but back+schedule hurts value going forward. I think he's going to win a lot of leagues.
Wow that's quite the endorsement. Hope you are right.
I hope so too. They used to say the same things about David Wilson.

The Browns were severely limited early in the year but now Shanahan can really open things up.

With the addition of WR Josh Gordon the Browns can now line-up three wides and split a TE out and go with one deep back forcing the defense into nickel/dime which is going to open things up for the RB who can hit the hole with a full head of steam.

Seems tailor made for the Crow IMHO.
It's pronounced Gore-Don.

Well I stupidly forgot Murray but I think the logic is there otherwise. I'd say Murray, Charles, Bell, Crow to finish season. Everyone else has big question marks themselves.

What the.... Where can I take this bet? haha. If Crowell is even in the top-10 for the ROS, I'd be stunned. And I like Crow, but that statement is cray cray
Not to be argumentative but who would you rank ahead and? I edited to add Forte, who I also forgot in my haste to reply, but all the other backs I can think of have some big question marks themselves with injury, talent, opportunity, or scehedule. McCoy? CJ Anderson? Lynch? Foster has more and more dings. Maybe Forsett but his schedule isn't the cakewalk that Crow's is. Lacy maybe. I don't think Ingram with the way the Saints are playing and him being an FO at end of season. Even if not top 5 I have a hard time not seeing him top 10.
The issue with Crowell ROS is usage, like it has been all season. I love the guy, but I wouldn't trade for him right now if I had a lot of those guys because when they're playing it is their backfield.

This coaching staff will not anoint anyone. They are building a culture where each player gets what they earn. No more no less.

Tate got entitled. They cut him. Josh Gordon came back. They put him last on the depth chart.http://dawgpounddaily.com/2014/11/18/browns-depth-chart-reshuffled-greatly/?utm_source=FanSided&utm_medium=Network&utm_campaign=Trending%20on%20FS

Crowell is going to be awesome but something big would have to happen before he gets a feature back role.
Agreed. Any given week West could simply have a better week of practice or just get the "hot hand". I like Crowell a lot, but I'm not sure I trust the Browns to feed the crow every week. And the week they don't could end your FF season.

Anyone selling high?
Is this really high? I'd like to think this would be selling low. Once IF the situation clears up and West is given his second string memo, Crow's value should blast through the nest. CACAW!
Fixed for ya. I'd usually be patient as well, but a profit is a profit and I have a trade deadline looming.

I'll be surprised if Crowell is more valuable ROS than any of Murray, Foster, Jennings, Forsett or Ingram, and even DRob. This still makes him an RB1, of course.

Anyone starting Gordon and Crowell?
I am. I currently sit in 6th place. I cut off my retreat by trading away Lesean McCoy to get Crowell. I'm starting (superflex)

Tony Romo

Bridgewater (over Jeremy Hill)

Crowell

Marshawn

Gordon

Julio

Golden

Jimmy

a kicker

a defense

Debating on Sjax (with no Smith), Crowell, or Golden in my flex. The news of Golden drawing Revis this Sunday makes me think its between the two RBs.

Anyone starting Gordon and Crowell?
debated and he's been in and out of my lineup probably 3 times but I've got Ellington, CJ Anderson, Tre Mason, Crowell, Denard Robinson, Gray and Fjax for 2 spots. Over the past 3 weeks I've literally gone from 1 RB to 7 and while it sounds great I'm pulling out my hair on who to start beacuse I know whoever I have on my bench are gonna be the ones to blow up. Rolling with AJ Green, Gordon with Beckham in my flex...and as of this moment CJ and Denard but might replace him with Mason...aahhhhh

I'm in a very similar situation with you. I have Tre Mason, CJ Anderson, Ellington, Mckinnon, Crowell, Odell Beckjam jr for 2 spots. My Rb1/WR1 are Charles/Nelson.

I've had CJ as my RB2 spot all week but I'm leaning towards putting Crowell as RB2 and flexing with either CJ or Odell Beckjam JR.....I can't decide.

Its killing me. Must win situation

Contemplating it. Gor-DON is certainly a start for me. Debating Crowell over. Vereen for my Flex2 in that league.

Sorely tempted free The Crow from his perch upon the bust of Pallas(actually, that was a raven, sooo...."Sorely tempted to turn Eric Draven loose on Top Dollar's sorry a$$" probably works better.)

Starting Gordon over nobody of note in one dynasty league. Still trying to pick 3 of Gordon, Dez, Sanders, and Evans this week in a re-draft PPR. Crowell I am flexing in one dynasty league, and in my second dynasty league am debating flexing him or Watkins.

So Terrence West still sits at #1 on the CLE depth chart. Is this a full blown RBBC 50/50 split you think?
It's been a RBBC ALL YEAR. Not sure why everyone is so quick to crown either one the man.
I am not crowning anyone but I love that Cleveland runs the ball 32 times per game. There should be plenty of RB touches to make either guy a RB2/flex play.

I realize. I have been following the CLE backfield closely as at one point I owned all 3 but dropped the crow a few weeks back :( Still own west and see the current situation as a plus for him as well. Just two weeks ago pettine gave him 26 carries and he looked good.

Exactly. Especially now that they only have two guys sharing those 32 carries. With Gordon back they might pass more, but his presence also should force defenses to play more cover two Nickle and Dime, which means fewer big bodies up front. I think if you owned both Crowell and West, you could start both and expect RB1 return from one and Flex value from the other.

Have the option of starting Crowell or Rashad Jennings. Going to play it safe and start Jennings. If Crowell does what I think he is going to do, then I can start playing Crowell if the matchup is right. Good problem to have.

I'm still mulling over whether to start Crow or one of the Cincy RBs as I own both (or possibly benching Roddy White and starting Crow with one of the Cincy guys). as of now I'm leaning towards Crow + Roddy. I like the idea of Gordon stretching the field + Crow coming back home to play in front of friends & family (I'm a sucker for playing that angle).

That didn't work out too well for Montee Ball last week.

Nope, but I don't own Ball so am impervious to that disaster. :)

I started Jeremy Hill last week for his homecoming, though I really didn't have much of a decision to make on that one.

I think you have to run with Hill, he's playing too well and Gio may be limited.Going forward I think Cincinnati and Cleveland look very similar as fantasy backfields.

I'm also starting Gordon and Crowell. With a playoff spot locked 2 weeks ago, I can feel free to roll them out there and see what happens.

Crowell in at RB2, denard in at WR to flex nuts to my league, Odell takes smith sr's flex spot. So Crowell over smith with emphasis on senior

I would definitely go for Crow. To me it's a coin toss between the Cincy backs ..more likely that Hill gets a heavier load and I think that Crow has the advanage over West. The tie breaker is Gordon being added and playing Atlanta.

From the AJC: http://www.myajc.com/news/sports/football/storylines-can-falcons-beat-winning-team/njCMQ/#e1e0ccf8.257071.735559

A look at how former UGA standout Isaiah Crowell is doing for the Browns. Crowell, the former Georgia star who was kicked out of school and finished his career at Alabama State, is set to make his second start. “Crow is a really a big surprise for us,” Browns coach Mike Pettine said. “We were very fortunate to be able to get him after the draft. I thought that (general manager) Ray Farmer identified him and did a heck of a job of getting him here.” Crowell is averaging 4.6 yards per carry and has five touchdowns for the Browns. “We are real pleased with where he is, and we’re looking for much more of the same,” Pettine said.

Picking Crow up to complete the trifecta (West started week 2, Tate three other weeks). Figured he has a much higher ceiling than Sims. Still having a hard time putting him in this week despite the plus matchup.

(NCAYFFT - Shoelace v IND or Crowell @ ATL)

Nice schedule and he's explosive, Gordon back should stretch the field. But CLE is battling through a lot of injuries. As bad as ATL has been at times this year, they're still a veteran team battling for a playoff spot at home. This is not a walkover game.

Gordon in team over Beckham at flex right now.

Crowell is on the bench behind Denard Robinson and CJ Anderson but I'm wavering a little with CJ and Crow due to the juicier matchup

Same problem although I don't have Robinson. I'm strongly leaning toward Crowell over Anderson AND Ellington and in another league over Ingram. Thing is we could be screwing ourselves siting guys who get almost all the touches for a guy that may wind up with less carries than West. We just don't know...
