It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia (1 Viewer)

Dee is definitely the most normal (and also the funniest comedic talent of them all imo)
I can't think of an actress who goes all out as does Kaitlin Olson. The rages, GD bombs, the retching, crapping her pants, Aluminum Monster, getting into a fistfight with Mac where he punches her in the ######....she leaves it all out on the field.

I enjoy her new show The Mick on Fox.

She's like a little more street smart Dee

fantastic episode. things i laughed at:

Frank walking into the bar singing "Coke and a gun! Coke and a gun!"

Boca Raton <> Boko Haram

Dennis responding to Dee's question about BB&B: "Yes, #####!"

Mac & Charlie's commercial: "There's only one acceptable female body type"; Charlie wearing two pairs of glasses (i think i saw that) trying to explain science

Twitter crawl

Frank's fluids and the twitter crawl were world class.    Some comment on Dee..  Ugly, Ugly, Ugly, Ugly..  #idstillhititthough     Perfectly written internet trolling/commenting

I've never watched an episode.  Worth picking up at the beginning or is each episode it's own thing?
I'd pick up at the beginning.  Believe it or not, there are some character arches, though mainly with background characters.  Also, there are plot points from earlier episodes which make jokes in later episodes make sense.

The Boko Haram thing reminded me of the story I heard years ago about some guy selling his truck back to the dealer but still having the information about his plumbing company (I believe that's what it was) on the side of the truck.  That truck ended up overseas and being used by ISIS (or similar) in doing what they do.  Pictures surfaced online of the terrorists in his old truck, and he went and sued the crap out of the dealership (don't know how that suit turned out).  Makes me think that the writers are getting more and more of their ideas from real world events.

It's a low bar to be sure, but Dennis would have to be the "most normal" one in the gang, right?
Normal is hard to quantify with this gang.  I've always thought of Mac and Charlie as more moralistic than the other three.  Dee, Denis and Frank have bad intentions during many of their shenanigans. Charlie is just dumb and Mac is confused.

I'd almost have to go Charlie here.

He and Dee both started out that way, but the wheels came off that bus a long time ago, especially in Dennis case. IIRC, they originally were going to have Dee be the "straight man" and normal one of the group which is more evident in the early episodes, but eventually realized it would be even funnier if she was just as crazy as the others.

I think it was more that Katlin Olsen lobbied to be more like the gang because it's more fun... and it's a good thing she did as she'd have never gotten The Mick gig if she played the straight man

Frank's transformation is one of the best parts of the show.  Now he's been the way he is now for awhile but all of us who have seen this show from the beginning know his character has changed a ton.  I know alot of older TV viewers who are familiar with devito from taxi or whatever but have never given sunny a chance.  It's prob some of the best stuff I've seen him do.  You can tell he's having a blast.

I'm still waiting for a chardeemacdenis game to come out at walmart.

I'd buy it.  FFA callout if we can make this happen, I'm in.

I've watched enough to all trivia...

I read that the reason she is more like the gang is because Mac told her he had no idea how to write for a female comedian so she told him to just write her part like he would for a guy.

You ever see a grown woman take a dump in a sandbox?

On a sidenote, "One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest" has been on HBO the past month. I had almost forgotten about Devito. Only Kaitlin Olson had been born when that film came out (and she was only a few months old). That's a testament to the longevity of his career.

Mac and Dennis both looking at the camera.

Dees cat reenactment

Charlie saying yeah

Dennis asking him why he keeps saying that

Just so much funny in this episode.

Great send-up of Making a Murderer and The Jinx, but I still seem to laugh harder at the less ambitious episodes, like Old Lady House and last week's.  I guess I just like "classic" Sunny the best - these 5 characters bickering and doing stupid #### at Paddy's.

On a side note I am also liking the Mick.  It's not sunny, but it's funny
Only one I have seen so far was the one where the niece didn't believe in birth control. Not every joke worked, but the ones that did had me LMAO. Also the plot to fool the niece into thinking she got pregnant to scare her straight seemed like something straight out of Sunny.

I watched one last night where Dee was on a date with some rich guy on his boat.  She got tipsy and fell off the side of the boat.  Was ####ing hilarious

The mick is funny. When the little kid burned his tongue on the hibachi grill and had to wear the apparatus in his mouth to keep anything from touching his tongue, that was great. The kid was drooling everywhere.
