AARP is relentless!  I am 53 and they still send me something at least monthly.  The free tote bag has thus far not been enough coercion to convince me to join their organization.  Besides, they would hate having me in AARP, as I am way too immature!

I was never shafted by direct family growing up, despite my mom being poor. Lucked out there. Birthday and Christmas were separate and distinct.
