top 10 if not top 5 DNEVER stream a terrible def like Titans...oof only 2 sacks against most sacked qb in league. And no picks, nice
lol, so they can bring on Chad Henne? gllllllllllWow. Bortles had a game fantasy wise, but let's see if he has as long a leash when Gus gets the boot.
No...I stopped watching the 2nd quarter to get some work done. I decided I could work more efficiently with Black Mass on in the background.
Did I miss a great game?
You missed 42 minutes of garbage time.Did I miss a great game?
Which they didn't show nearly enough of!The best part about this game was the cheerleaders in Halloween costumes.
Jax WRs have their 1 good game against my teams, Arob week 3 or so & Hurns tonight. Ridiculous.Wait I'm reading this on the internet, should i believe it? Kidding aside he looked pretty bad. Wasn't just Bortles that would get the coach fired (which looks like won't happen this week), the whole team looked like garbage. It's telling when Allen Robinson loses it on the sidelines. I wonder who else on the offense has had it with Bortles. Roto went IN on Blake in their blurb:
Blake Bortles completed 33-of-54 passes for 337 yards and three touchdowns in Jacksonville's 36-22, Week 8 loss to the Titans.
Don't believe everything you read on the internet. Bortles was utterly horrendous, and frankly, lucky not to get benched. His stats do not tell the story of a quarterback who was tossing painful wobblers all evening. His motion has become a cross between side-armed Matthew Stafford and Tim Tebow. At times it looked like he was trying to toss a fully-baked turkey. All of Bortles' "production" came in garbage time. He was 8-of-16 for 64 yards as the Jags trailed 27-0 at halftime. Bortles was bad enough to get his coach fired, something that seems like a distinct Friday possibility. Bortles will be a bottom-barrel QB2 against the Chiefs in Week 9.

That's the kind of stuff that makes me so glad to be out if watching the NFL for fantasy purposes. I bet bottles had about a 10 point night but that last 5 minutes of the game likely means he is a top 5 guy this week and his "studly" performance fantasy owners invested four hours of their lives in will pay off for some and cause anguish for others. So Bortles is likely going to finish as a top 5 play in fantasy this week. Unreal.
Edit: At his position.
Ah yes, the dreaded "vote of confidence" by the owner.Wasn't just Bortles that would get the coach fired (which looks like won't happen this week), the whole team looked like garbage.
Didn't even realize I was playing against garbage bortles in one league, couldn't believe someone would actually start him. And they also had Murray so I'm done after 2 players...@@@@ you and sh@@@y Tenn defense. I hope titans lose every game rest of year
Dude this thinking is the reason why Gus wasn't fired last year. Total gut job isn't necessary unless switching to 34 defense.I'm a Titans fan and well aware of the Jags and firing coaches. It's not just firing Bradley- it's turning over a roster. I totally understand why Khan doesn't want to fire Bradley.
The GM should not answer his phone and start working up a resume. I can totally imagine the owner thinking "You made me spend X million for this?"
The Jags brass needs to sit down and discuss if the coordinators can take over. Or maybe they do one of those where the HC remains but the coordinators are fired. They have to run down scenarios where the roster is intact.
I don't know if Jags fans can get what they want here. A new coach and the same roster has never happened.
The Jags are in a bad spot. That roster should have a bright future
