Jerramy Stevens (1 Viewer)

I see that Jerramy Stevens came back from suspension and was targeted 10 times. Granted I understand TB tossed 67 passes that game, but 10 targets is still pretty high for a TE in any scenario.

Will TB be running this style of offense more often than not with Griese at the helm? Can we expect more production like that from the TE?

How do you think he compares to other waiver wire TE's like Scaife, Fasano, and maybe Billy Miller?

I grabbed him for bye week fillin week 4...we'll see. He got a redzone TD.

I'm hoping to pick him up off the WW this week if he's still there. Of course my TE's are Ben Watson and Zach Miller so I'm desperate.

Stevens & Bryant will continue to be the top 2 receiving threats for the Bucs, with Ike following them. Alex Smith has had his chances, but has not stepped up. Gruden liked Stevens enough to go after him when it wasn't a good PR move. He also kept him on the roster for the 2 games he was suspended. He is a perfect compliment to the blocking TE Gilmore, and is a veteran in the West Coast offense.

Not really sure if I should grab him. I have Tony Gonzalez but I'm not even sure if Thigpen should be an NFL QB at the moment.

I think he's worth a look. And we all know he's a scumbag. But let's face facts. As long as a guy is fantasy worthy, we'll turn the other way. Hell, if Rae Carruth got out on a work release program and put up #s similar to TO's, the waiver wires would be red hot! :excited:

He is definately a worthy waiver pickup. I put a claim on him (granted I am desperate since I have McMichael and Rosario).

He has the potential to be a top ten TE. Especially in Gruden's system. The west coast offense has always included the TE when the TE is a capable player. Stevens could excell. Definately worth the risk of a waiver claim
