Just my initial reaction. You got to admit that when they have asked of him he has been in poor situations and they have thrown everyone at him. As a matter of fact this is my only concern about the Wildcat. It seemed early that Chad didn't seem to be in control of the offense, maybe because he isn't in on every play. I wonder if this has a negative effect on the overall leadership of the team on the field. At the very least it has to make it tougher for a QB to get into a rhythm.Just a thought. Then again it could be that Pennington is just a putz.
7 of 9 for 85 yards with no sacks and 0 picks isn't what I would call hurried and confused.

Question for J-E-T-S fans.
How come that Rudy DB they got from the Ravens returns punts instead of Washington? I know Leon returns kicks, but why not punts? Seems to me you want to get him in space as often as possible.

He defintely hasn't looked flustered and has been pretty good about hitting his hot read when the Jets are blitzing. Jets are definitely bringing pressure, but the O-Line is holding up pretty well and Henne is making good plays and good decisions. I haven't seen any throw yet that was questionable at all. One of his two incompletions that he threw hit Ronnie Brown square in the numbers and it bounced off his chest. Ronnie straight dropped an easy grab.Would you say he has looked confident?7/9 for 85 yards with no sacks isn't what I would call hurried and confused.

he has not dropped a pass. There were a couple bad passes from Sanchez but those are not on Edwards.
How about
Ronnie seems to read the Wildcat so much better than Ricky. Looked like Ricky should have bounced it to the left on that last one and instead ran straight into the back of his linemen.

wtf was that opening drive? Ricky Williams isnt suited for that role. Thats two straight drives 3 and out with Brown on the bench. Momentum is gone for now. Putting too much pressure on the defense
How can the announcer say that Wilson didn't lead with his head? That was a pretty obvious one.

Ricky is no threat to throw. When he receives the direct snap, it's a guaranteed run play.IMO, that's why Ronnie is more effective from that formation.
I love good hard hits but....It is not unreasonable to expect them to refrain from leading with their helmet to the helmet of another player.

Im liking the number of targets Edwards is getting already. Hopefully this gets better and Sanchez learns to throw to him. The timing is off on some of those passes but I am sure it will develop.
By the way, great user name. Loved those books before I figured out how bad a writer Anthony was!

Looks like they learned from it.
Been using it for about 20 years. Read alot of Anthony from 4th grade on. I've graduated since then. Been enjoying George R. R. Martin lately, and big fan of Raymond E. Feist.
Haven't read Martin. Feist and Weiss/Hickman got me addicted to reading.
