I think she did worse for herself than if she had not said a thing. I was truly thinking life would be worse for her, but she is so disgusting using locks of love and recycling as a reason to keep her alive that I say go ahead and put her to death. She has no concept of remorse or guilt. She still claims she was abused. Just truly disgusting.
Of course that is her stance still. If she admitted there was no abuse, then it would show even more holes in her already mess of a story.
She's playing the pitty card today with hope one person will not have it in them to put her to death, and then still keeping option open for an appeals case of playing Travis as the abuser.
I think at this point, you just show remorse for your actions. You don't trash anyone especially the victim. She just fall on the mercy of the jury. You simply say I did wrong, please spare me. You don't show survivor shirts. She is not a survivor. That changes me from life to death. It disgusts me. It would have been better had she just not spoken at all.
Did you see the interview she did with Fox after her verdict? That one got me all fired up. This seemed pretty tame in comparison.
When she said she couldn't look at Travis's siblings because they all look alike and they remind her of the man who abused her, my blood started to boil.
I really don't think today was super offensive. The whole family thing did hit me. I guess I've been talking about this wondering why her family didn't testify. Her family really is going to be hurt a lot more than they already have been if she is executed. And they haven't done anything wrong. I do hate the fact that she will sit in prison for the rest of her life having a little harem and being the queen teaching people how to read and such. Who knows though. I have read that maximum security prisons are pretty brutal with gangs and things of that nature.
