I'm surprised there hasn't been more talk about Skelton. The kid looked good last week. Yeah, he took a couple of sacks for safeties, but for a raw 2nd year QB out of Fordham with little experience, Skelton was dang impressive.
What surprised me was hearing he "struggled" in some game reports I read. His stats looked decent, but you can't scout by numbers, so I watched the replay. It was evident the "struggling" simply referred to him taking the two safeties because what I saw was a good young prospect. Skelton was throwing strikes all over the field. He even used different arm angles when needed (like when moving to his left).
I was fairly high on Skelton coming out & drafted him in most of my dynasty leagues (typically in the 3rd round). He's big, strong, athletic, & has a really good arm. Reminds me a little of Big Ben. I was somewhat disappointed when the Cardinals went out & got Kolb in the offseason, though. The good news is Skelton just might be better than Kolb right now. Skelton certainly has more upside, IMO.
