Did boyd just turnover all his drugs to a complete stranger?
Didn't look like he had much choice.
Maybe - but a little too convenient without even appearing to give it a second thought, Guy goes on a gauntlet quest to get his drugs and turns them over to some dude at the drop of a hat.
He clearly had second thoughts and didn't really believe the whole sister story. He knows Crowe is trying to screw him over but has to go along with it for now.
I think you are just buying what the writers are selling - and not thinking about the logic of it
Maybe. It's definitely not the tightest storyline in the history of television, I'm just not sure what the alternative would be at that moment. He refuses the guy, then what?
I get how it can make sense - but Boyd stated on more than one occasion last night that he doesn't trust Crowe. Then he turns all the power over to Crowe? Even after he stated that Crowe had set it up all along. Like you said just not very tight.
havent you figured out that Boyd is ALWAYS one step ahead of everyone else?

Good show the other night. Wendy gets hotter and hotter with those braless flannels. Amy Smart still has it. Raylan, as always, too cool for school.

Nice little plot tie-up with Kendall.

Getting better.

I guess I'm in the minority here but this season has been less then stellar.

Raylan has been turned into a clueless blonde.

The Crowe family is just a disaster all the way around minus the sister.

The new tech nerd has no personality.

The black chick and the former army dude bossing Raylan around is a joke.
Don't forget the Ava in prison thing. Horrible.
and the ridiculous crowe/crowder marriage

I don't think the season's been too bad. Just scattered (which has been known to happen a fair amount since S2).

The Ava thing isn't helping.

That seems clearly like a situation where they just like a character (rightfully so) and want to keep her on-screen, but have no idea what to do with her at the moment. I actually don't dislike her plot, it's just that it takes focus away from other characters that need to be on-screen more. With that time, they could be giving Raylan a little more to do or giving the Wood brothers more to do (along with Hot Rod would've been nice).

As always, there's never enough to do with Duffy and Art.

The Eric Roberts addition was nice. He was so great in that role (no idea if he's coming back) They got so much done in that great scene with Hot Rod bleeding out.

I enjoyed the episode quite a bit until the last couple of scenes.

The guard thing was a waste and I really don't care about the Crowes anymore. Up until then though, it felt like vintage Justified.

All I wanted was, when Ava killed that old woman, for the old woman to go back to her Breaking Bad roots and whisper "I ain't no skank" with her last breath.

Good episode. The whole Rapport attacking Amy Smart's character seemed like a major reach. But at least we got some good Boyd scenes.

It wasn;t explained well - but the thought was that the death of Danny Crowe would lead the Crowe's to attack Smart to get at Raylan. Which is still a reach.

I took as that and he figured Raylan might be with her.

Could be either, I guess.

It was a bit clunky and the pieces felt a little forced to get Art shot, but I'll go with it.

The Crowe's are a violent bunch. Certainly, this isn't the flimsiest reason they've ever come up with to shoot somebody.

Also, it feels like we're setting up for a final season of Raylan setting his sights on a team of Boyd Crowder, Wynn Duffy, and this delightful Catherine Hale character. That sounds awesome.

Hell, I'd sign up to just watch those for 4 in room together for 12 straight episodes (unless Art survives, in which case we'd need him too).

I saw an interview with Mary Steenburgen yesterday, and she said her character will also be on season 6 (the final season). She said she loves playing a bad character.

is it me or is Boyd Crowder the worst drug dealer ever? How the hell does he pay his guys? It can't be from the profits of that lonely bar.

I must've misheard or misinterpreted pretty badly because I swear I thought Boyd tried to work out a deal for Ava too (or did I hear right and Raylen was just being a huge ****?)

This episode was pretty much like the rest of the season. Brilliant when Boyd, Duffy, Raylen, and/or Dewey are on-screen. Pretty weak when Ava or Daryl is. Though, I still don't mind the accent, and generally enjoy his scenes with Raylen and Boyd.

So all of the sudden this week Darryl Crowe becomes a mastermind criminal and a big tough guy and America's Most Wanted? Not really a fan of where the end of this season went.

The biggest problem with this season is the cast is too big. Too many competing parties. And all they are really trying to do is write another season where Boyd vs Raylan doesn't come to a head. Got to think that is where the next season is headed.
