Justified (1 Viewer)

I will watch. Michael Rapaport will be playing the lead bad guy this season. This is supposed to be the next-to-last season.

By the name of Dale Crowe and, I assume, kin to Dewey. We've been needing to meet more from the Crowe clan for some time now.

Apparently, in the pilot, Raylan mentions sending Dewey's cousin, Dale, to prison.

Nice. Rappaport is endlessly entertaining.
He's a bit of a come down from Neal McDonough and Margo Martindale thoughOn IMDB he is only listed for five episodes so maybe there is something else going on...
Bit early to make that call, no? Seems like a potentially great fit as a Crowe.

Justified pretty much knocks every guest star out of the park, and I can't imagine this being any different.

After what they did with the bald guy from "Yes Dear", the sky's the limit with Rapaport.

I'm just having a hard time with him.

I think he does stark raving mad pretty well. And stoopid. And annoying.

But they did stoopid with Dickie and stark raving with Quarles. Don't think annoying is going to cut it.

Will watch though. Hope to be wrong

I've been pleasantly surprised with them all. Even Margo. I knew she was good, but never could've possibly imagined she could be that good.

I don't know exactly what to expect with Rapaport, but they've got the benefit of the doubt from me.

Though, I am curious what sort of effect losing Leonard could have. I don't know exactly what his involvement was, but he did have 53 writing credits.

I don't know why anyone would question anything about this show before we've seen it play out. So far it's been like the anti-Sons of Anarchy.

You know, there's a lot of really good shows on tv right now, but this one is just the winner for me. Raylan and Boyd are easily my two favorite characters on tv. So excited for tomorrow night.

The preview scene where Raylan shoots the above ground pool gets me every time. That's just a quintessential Justified scene.

BTW, Jere Burns is now a regular, which is probably the best development that started last night.

Very excited about the trashy hot ginger Crowe that used to play Becky's trashy mom in FNL.

I've also got my fingers crossed the Raylan's going to solve the Pappy heist this season (I assume Boyd orchestrated it).

Rappaport is hilarious in everything he does. The accent was off just a touch once or twice, but I love that he was cast for this. So far, so good.

There's no easy way to say this, but Michael Rappaport sucks
I didn't expect his southern accent to be very good, and it wasn't. Other than that, he'll make a fine villain.
Sepinwall said he's not a fan of the Rapaport casting either.

I agree with you though. Not a great accent, but not so bad that it takes out me out of the story. If the story's good, he'll be fine.

And it's absolutely no worse than the Emmy winning Dickie Bennett's accent. That one did start to annoy me enough to take me out of the story (though I still enjoyed his character).

It's not even his southern accent that's throwing me, it's knowing what his real voice sounds like. It's very distinct and I can't get that out of my head. It's like the Irish guy from Sons of Anarchy. It doesn't matter how good his southern accent is, the knowledge of his actual voice is the distraction.

I'm willing to give Rapaport a chance. I'm positive the writers can crank out a great character for him. Not a big fan of anything else he's done though.

Justified is my favorite show on the air right now. No question.

I enjoyed the show but thought it was a weaker opening episode. Now I know they have lots of setup to do - but just seemed faster paced and more violent - as if they were attempting to cover for less story. I also thought Boyd's scenes were rushed - he works better written like last year where his character has more time to develop a scene.

good start for me. I love stories about country gangsters who are probably pulling in nice dough but still choose to wear overalls and Van Halen t-shirts.

some nice buns shots of the girls getting out of the pool. I'm a big fan of the lessening censorship on cable TV (i.e. more cuss words & nekked chicks).

I think Rapaport will be fine. his accent stinks, but he has a presence when he's on the screen.
