He did look strong...if he can keep his head on straight and if Gabbert isn't a total bust he could outperform his ADP.

That being said, those are two HUGE ifs.

But yes, I agree with the OP, Blackmon looked good. I still hold to my predraft comparison of Hakeem Nicks as his ceiling. It always seemed to me like they are very similar players, just has to prove it on the field now.

Never really watched him play till last night. He looked very strong catching balls in traffic, had good hands, then quick explosiveness after the catch. Could be a nice mid/late round pick.

Remember the criticisms of AJ Green last year? Rookie, rookie qb, no other wr threats etc. He is now a safe bet for top 15 wr. I see Blackmon having a similar year as Green did last year. Strong wr 3 with wr 2 upside.

This video made me tear up and my respect level or blackmon is now through the roof. I was ambivalent about him before. Now I am rooting for him to ascend to Calvin Johnson status. Good kid. Thanks for sharing!

True, their wr corp is a lot better than cincy. Gabbert could put up some surprisingly good numbers this year, especially if mjd holds out well into season which is looking like a real possibility. Jennings actually looked very solid last nite.

Mix in some screens to MJD or Rashad Jennings, and a bounce back season from Mercedes Lewis, this will not be the 32nd ranked passing offence again.

I think he's a decent second option, should keep defenses honest. Gabbert seems to have developed chemistry with Blackmon though.

Just did two mocks and his ADP has gone up 1-2 rounds. Was targetting him round 10 of a team 10, and he was taken in rounds 8 and 9.
