Kansas City at Oakland (1 Viewer)

Just like Reid. Doesn't use Hunt nearly enough in the first half of games
Dude, how can I put this... I don't want to insult you... ummm. OK. I don't know what to say.

Smiff has 200 yards. They've got 17 points and driving. Reid is working his offense to absolute perfection.

Sorry you want Hunt to score every drive. The Chiefs have more than 1 mouth to feed.

For tackling the running back, yes. Very unnecessary.

"Hey, my teammate probably has him. I'll just stand and watch."

Ugh. The NFL has brainwashed people, I guess. Anyone remember football 15+ years ago? Those were the days.
"I'll hold the QB up and prevent him from going down so you can come in, full steam, and blast him into the turf where he was trying to go down anyway."

This is the same as a RB or WR falling down without being touched and having the defensive player unload on him as he's laying there. Just put a hand on him and the play is over.

15 years ago they put a bounty on offensive players.

I agree we used to see more plays like this a decade or so ago.

Good description.

WRs have gotten so good at that. Almost surprised he didn’t drag that other foot even though that must be insanely difficult when catching a high pass.
Yeah when Carter used to do all the time it was somewhat rare. Lots of receivers can do that consistently now.

Not Wilson though.

Yeah we've never seen Hill do anything good on a 'trick' play.
We have,  but that wasn’t a good game management move.

It wasn’t really a trick, but it was trickier than handing it to 27, getting the 1st down and killing the clock so the Raiders can’t do what they’re doing right now.

Well if he stays in bounds it's fine. That's solely on Hill.

Where did I get the idea KC had a good defense?
It's obviously been much better than this the past couple years. Certain injuries have made a huge impact. Having a guy like Berry completely changes your D, not to mention that he was the undisputed heart and soul vocally/leadership wise. But yeah they're pretty bad right now. They need to start blitzing, rushing 3/4 isn't working at all.
