The system we are currently using is:
Top finishers announce keepers in order, and then after last place announces their keepers - they get to announce their choice of draft pick, and the order reverses.
Having finished 2nd, I had to announce my keepers 2nd, and I get 2nd to last draft position choice.
One of the bottom 3 guys is trying to trade Ray Rice (we can only keep 1 guy in the 1st 3 rounds) before declaring him a keeper. This trade is being proposed with the 2nd bottom guy, so neither of them have announced keepers or draft placement.
I argue that this is unfair to do before keepers are announced, and possibly before draft position is announced (to prevent 1 team getting away with a "better deal".
