Consider the OP. Being unfunny is SOP for him.The title of this thread is pretty appalling and not funny if that is how it was intended.
The brand change would be relatively easy for them... just change the "K" to a "J".
I liked the boneless chicken, but my local KFCs all said it was discontinued.Unfair to an extent, but they are still blowing KFC out of the water in overall chicken sales. And with a third of the stores. I see a lot of people posting about how KFC made them ill or they didn't like it. And I used to be in that boat, too. But I tried the boneless chicken. It's not like a tender. It really made me change my view on KFC. I really enjoy the new boneless chicken.yeah, which is why it is an unfair comparisonthey have nuggets and tenders, but sammiches are the big thingI just took a look at the chick site. Do they only have sandwhiches, no fried chicken
and they are awesome

You'd change your tune if you saw what I've seen. I do restaurant pest control, and my company services over 100 KFCs. Of those 100+, theres maybe 10 that I'd consider eatingat if I hadn't eaten in days. The rest are so disgusting I wouldn't eat there if you paid me. And its not just individual store cleanliness, its widely practiced ways they do things like leaving boxes of frozen chicken on the floor to thaw out overnight, leaving trash cans overflowing with leftover chicken inside by the back door overnight, failing to clean drains of raw chicken parts, grease, grime and the like, washing and reusing gravy togo containers, making pot pies from chicken that is days old...the list goes on and on.Eat at KFC at your own risk.Unfair to an extent, but they are still blowing KFC out of the water in overall chicken sales. Yeah you'd think so. I mark sanitation issues I see on my paperwork, and I'm amazed how some restaurants pass inspections. Maybe there's some palm greasing going on, or maybe they get a heads up on when inspections are coming. Also, inspections happen during business hours, but I see what goes on between 1 and 5 A.M. when inspectors are sleeping. Even if they get violated, they are given time to correct them...so they can get away with it without getting shut down...then its only a matter of time before they slip back into nasty habits. Those are not violations? If they are, can't they be shut down for repeated violations? You'd change your tune if you saw what I've seen. I do restaurant pest control, and my company services over 100 KFCs. Chickening, actually.Mr Cross fishing againThe title of this thread is pretty appalling and not funny if that is how it was intended.
The last time I ate at KFC was in the early 90s. I had the small container of cole slaw and it had half of a small bug in it. It was perfectly chopped like it was in with the rest as they prepared it. Haven't entered their chain since. You'd change your tune if you saw what I've seen. I've had this happen at several places. I once was in the drive thru at a Bojangles and they said they were out of cooked chicken and it would be at least 25 minutes before they would have anything ready. This was at dinner time. I have walked into a pizza place to be told they are out of cheese and are waiting for some from another location 30 minutes minimum for a pizza. It's poor location management.I've had that happen to me a lot at KFC too. Since I find myself waiting at KFC more often than not anyway, I usually go to the hole-in-the-wall soul food place by me for carryout, where I know I'll have to wait, but it's better than KFC.Has anyone else noticed that at KFC, at least for me, they never seem to have the chicken ready. Well over half the time I go and order, I get the old "it's going to be about 10 minutes on the chicken". It's become a running joke with my wife and I. Suprised em again by ordering the chicken! And no its not a special order, just original chicken.
Really? I'm a fan of Zaxby's (if I stay away from the nutrition info) but I can't stand any of their sauces or dressings for salads. I always use my own from home. And the Zaxx sauce...OMG

OK. I guess you've got them figured out. They're not really praying to God, they're praying to breakfast food. But they already have about fifteen different prayer breakfasts, and one expressly limited to a certain type of pancakes. This is more using God as an excuse to have a group about biscuits.I don't think that's based of a love of biscuits. It sounds like prayer and breakfast. Two completely different things. You guys wanna hear something hilarious. Our local Megchurch has about 8 billion small groups and one of them, no lie, is based on your love of biscuits.

I hear stuff like this all of the time. It doesn't bother me. I worked in the restaurant for many years and if most people saw what goes on back in the kitchen, they'd never eat out again. And if most people saw what goes on behind the scenes at most food plants, they'd stop eating all together. You'd change your tune if you saw what I've seen. the lines always move a lot faster than you would think, at least at mineIt's shocking how crowded the drive thru is around lunch time. There could be 6 other joints on the same street with empty lines but these people will get in a 20 minute line for CFA. Could be something in the chicken...Yeah I know people love them. The drive through lines are always long.Of the rare times I'll visit any fast food place, they are my first choice by far. Great chicken biscuits, sandwiches and salads. It's about the best quality of food you could expect from a fast food place IMO.I don't get the love for CFA food. I mean they are OK but they aren't all that. And they are kind of pricey. I do like their policy of being closed on Sundays.
you get an overpriced piece of chicken on a buttered down bun with a pickle. I once asked could I get one with lettuce and tomato along with the pickle. She told me this ain't Burger King. But I did get the sandwich without butter on the bun, so that was good. And the waffle fries extra crispy. They have good iced tea too.
that's still way outside the norm. i assume if i am in the mall and ask for a chocolate chip cookie on my sammich they'll walk down to the cookie company and get one. they'll do damn near anythingWell, she did have a smile on her face, so I can't say she wasn't polite. The cashier at Chick-fil-A told you "This ain't Burger King" when you asked for lettuce and tomato?I'm not a CFA zealot, but I find this very hard to believe. It's shocking how crowded the drive thru is around lunch time. since kfc does not have spicy around me, this is a huge plus for popeyesI love the taste of Popeyes spicy chicken. I hate the way my skin feels immediately after and my digestive system is whacked for 2 days. I'll break down and eat it once or twice a year. Same with KFC. Fan of the boneless original recipe but again the salt etc makes my skin crawl.
Take all of that deep fried stuff, put it on a biscuit or white bun, and cover it with mayo disguised as "sauce" and you have.......Alabama.
Fair enough. I see lots of restaurants (worked in my share of them as well) and KFC is the only one Ive seen consistent issues like this with. Good luck.I hear stuff like this all of the time. Understood. But KFC seems to be extra special good at getting the nastiness all the way through to the final product. There's degrees of bad - KFC is at the superbad end of the spectrum. In the UK. It was likely a kidney. Still didn't belong there though.KFC recently served a fried brain to someone, didn't they?
Interesting that they don't consider KFC to be in the same league as CFA.Yum (KFC parent co) trying out new up-level chicken concept to better compete with CFA. Called Super Chix
Is this true? These things were the only reason I went to KFC. When they came out, I read an article where a KFC exec said that this was going to be game changing and that this was the new direction KFC was going.I liked the boneless chicken, but my local KFCs all said it was discontinued.Unfair to an extent, but they are still blowing KFC out of the water in overall chicken sales. For a chicken place, you'd think KFC would be able to make a decent chicken sandwich, but every sandwich they have is terrible.
