I saw an article where they said they just updated the paint on their bi-plane fleet. That's not a joke, apparently.

Invisibility paint, I'm sure.

Actually, I think it was that they painted the bottoms blue. And they called them "stealth" now. Yes. That's right. Stealth bi-planes.

Trying to decide if that's better or worse than Iran's Stealth Fighter Boat Planes.

Holy crap. Flying boats for a country that is largely a desert. That's pretty bad.

Both these flying boats and the biplanes are considered "radar evading," simply because they fly so low that radar can't pick them up. Along those lines, the Kurds have reportedly unveiled new anti-aircraft weapons that never need to be re-loaded and require very little maintenance. It's basically a really long stick that they can use to try and hit these planes...

They better not invade Mexico. they train their kids to do that while blindfolded.

I think I saw that stiory on CNN.

Supposedly the uncle took the outrageous step of thinking of the people for a change and suggested that the regime rebuild the economy before taking on any special or pet projects.

The Dear Leader was all like, "let's build a water park!" and "I want a ski resort!" (guess how many skiers NK has.... one? Him?).

Uncle says ... then uncle goes then he's just dead. I can't remember if the uncle got the special treatment that no one really knows about, I think he's the one they took care of in some bunker.

Meanwhile the wife, KJ's aunt, was executed for complaining.

It's about fear and establishing the fact that Un wants total, slavish devotion to him. We see it as cartoonish; he probably sees it as effective.

As for how it's getting out, I've heard there are defectors in SK who still have ties with people in the North. Plus, SK does have something of a decent intelligence service, most of it devoted to keeping their eyes on their neighbor.
