Kolby Smith (1 Viewer)

I've been thinking of picking up Kolby Smith as a sleeper, but not sure if I should use a bench spot on him. He had a few good games last year and got some looks against the Raiders last week. Anyone see the game that can add how he looked? (KC offense in general taken into consideration) How about Charles?

Herm said on ESPN today that he wants to get LJ the ball more, but we've heard that before and even he has to know that his team is going to have to throw a lot late to play catch up. From what I remember Kolby Smith is a good pass catching back. With LJ's disappearance late last week, could Smith wind up with some decent value this season?

No, don't waste your time with Kolby. LJ is the alphadog of the KC RB's and will get the vast majority of the carries. The only way Kolby or Jaamal Charles get carries is if LJ gets hurt.

the question for me would be in a dynasty, is KSmith > Charles, or is KC future back even on the roster?
