I am the BJ and Droughns owner in 2 leagues that feature BB... In both I bid 40% of BB $$. I landed him in one ($40 out of $100) but missed in the other. The commish outbidded me.... he put all his BB $$ on Ward ($1000 out of $1000). Hes in for one of Hell of a yr.

At least you never let who's on your fantasy team cloud your judgement of a player.

$46 out of $200 got him. Next highest was $42.

$100 salary cap, 16 team league, I paid $9.25 for him tonight and had to drop Brodie Croyle and Jerry Porter to get him.

Jabcobs owner is in my division, PPR, points for every yard .......... he's worth a chance

As a Jacobs owner I spent $40 out of $100. Next highest was $21. I overpaid a little but no worries.

We use blind bidding in HyperActive and I got him for free during the FCFS time last Thurs. Knowing that league, I know he would have gone for at least 1000 fantasy bucks. We get a 1000 each year, can trade for fantasy bucks, and have carryovers to the next year.

I think he went for $3 cash in our league.. typically good guys go for $20-25. I was amazed and wanted to bid him up but didnt' want to lose any of my existing backs (forced roster slots by position). :lmao:

This is a 16 Team 18 Man Roster League so it's fairly deep. 1 Keeper (Round Picked +1)

$1000 out of $1000 in both conferences (player can be drafted in each). We carry 30 on the roster, so any RB who might catch a few starts is pretty much gold as far as free agents go.

57 of 200. our league rounds bids down to the next highest bidder. (jacobs owner got and lilkely bid more for)

ie i bid 100 for battle dropping GHB Schumakker (knowing no one would bid more than 10-20) to ensure I got him.

he cost us 1 pt.

lol

 Holy crap.I have blind bids due Friday - if it came to it, I'd pull AP off my developement squad, cut some players to make room rather than put 100% of my remaining cap room on him.Are we really THAT sure he's going off?

Ward went for $201 out of $250 and Sammie Morris for $76 and Welker for $10 at midnight and now everybody's staying up late and scrambling for the freebies.

I'm in two leagues with blind bidding. They both have a budget of $100. He went for $25 in one, and $41 in the other. One is a 12 team league with rosters of 16, and the other is a 10 team league with rosters of 18.

Unbelieveably, not a single team in one of my 10 team redrafts put a bid on him. I was shocked. Someone picked him up early the next morning after blind bids were processed by dropping James Jones.

I'm actually the Jacobs owner in the league and just had too much depth and no one bad enough to drop to get him. But still, I could not believe that not a single team put in a bid. What was even more amazing were the waivers that actually DID take place through blind bidding. Out of a total of $100 blind bidding bucks to start the year, one team spent $23 on Eric Johnson, another spent $18 on Welker, another spent $7 on Garrard, and, the best of all, another spent $100 of $100 on Randle El.

50 out of 200.

I dont get it - he had one decent game, one good run.

Jacobs isnt out for the year, justa few weeks.

I wanted Ward as a Jacobs owner - but at that price, it just seems insane.

$21 out of $25, to a non-Jacobs owner who is DESPERATE for a #2 RB (he is forced to start Ron Dayne at the moment, so I suppose the overbid was necessary).

This is a 12 team, dynasty league. And yeah, this guy's team sucks.

Jacobs owner in my league (with only Cadillac as his backup RB) only bid $31 out of $200 for Ward. Not sure what he's saving his money for. The winning bid was $41.

$1 is way too much. Droughns will take some touches away and also look out for Ahmad Bradshaw. Factor in that Jacobs will be back in a few weeks and Ward isn't really worth it in my opinion. He went for $33 out of $100 in one league and $26 out of 100 in another.
