Lebron James will never win a championship... (2 Viewers)

Today was clutchness, but let's see him do it on the road.
:lmao: :P you should just stop posting.
Why?There's pressure... then THERE'S PRESSURE.Doing it at home with the lead in a playoff game ranks about a 6 on 1-10 clutchness scale. When he does it on the road, with the Cavs behind... then that's 9-10 on the clutchness scale. Before yeterday LBJ was a 3 on the Clutchness Scale... let's see he if ever improves.
 :bye: :lmao: This has to be my favorite post in a long time. It is going in my sig.I don't know if it was intentional or not, but much hilarity. :lmao:

I couldn't care less about the NBA, but I had to see why this thread keeps getting resurected. Comments like this are funnier than the idiotic comments you hear on reality TV.

No. 16 - were you a manning hater before he won the superbowl? were you one of the ones saying "he can't win the big game?"
From the first post...
Put this down in history.

LBJ will never win an NBA championship. He doesnt have the killer instinct or clutch play to become the best. He'll never be Magic and no way will he ever be Jordan.

I still think he'll become one of the best players in the NBA, but he'll be just like Peyton Manning. All stats and no rings.

If it takes a supposed franchise savior 3 NBA season before he hits a game winner... there's a problem. What's even worse is he has been considered "the man" practially since he put on a Cavs jersey.

Wade amd Melo on the other hand will win their fair share of championships.
:pickle: my bad ... somehow missed that one. anyway, i'm sure he's already been railed on for that comment. i always thought the "he can't win the big game" comment was complete BS. this lebron thing sounds pretty similar to me.
I personally thought most ridiculous thing in the post was the unfavorable comparison to Carmelo Anthony. There's a "franchise savior" for you. What's he done, led Denver to a 3-16 mark in four first-round playoff exits?
I am a Syracuse fan and have followed Melo pretty closely in his NBA career. The only area where he is better than Lebron is that he can score in more ways. He's pretty much unguardable one on one anymore. But, Melo does not make those around him better and he is lazy on defense. He is a couple notches below Wade and Bron Bron thus far in NBA achievement. I cant kill him too much regarding playoff success, 2 out of the last 3 years, they met the Spurs in the 1st round. No one else is beating them either.Lebron > Wade > > > > Melo > Bosh

If everyone could stop using that term, I'd feel much more comfortable. TIA.

awesome finish to this game.

LeBron hit a big 3 and had a monster dunk at the end, but Billups responds with a huge 3 of his own.

Cavs down 2 with 23 seconds left. Cavs ball.

:goodposting:

Where the hell were the Pistons on that dunk? Rolling out a carpet?

Missing those two FTs a minute ago != clutch

Billups damn near got it..

Road Clutchness
so far, James has 21 points (8 for 20), 9 rebounds, 7 assists and is 5 for 5 from the line.5:28 left in the game, Cavs up 81-80
James scored 9 points in the last 5 minutes of the game, going 4 for 5 from the floor with a 3 pointer and 2 dunks at the end that tied the game or took the lead. he did go 0 for 3 from the line though.EDIT TO ADD: the Cavs were down 88-81 with 3:15 left in the game. LeBron has scored 16 of his team's last 17 points.

Pistons will win this game, but Lebron has been more than clutch in this game... 2 dunks with the game on the line IN Detroit... when has that ever happened?

He's really dragging this POS team about as far as it goes. He has Tayshaun's jock wrapped around his leg too.

odds that No 16 checks in again tonight and claims he didn't watch the game?
He doesnt need to.. he's "seen enough before"... Lebron = home clutchness, road clutchness, street clutchness personified.
But this is Thursday, and the semi-finals. It's not the finals and not everyone is watching. This is only a 6 on the clutchness scale. Wait until it's a weekend during the finals, game 7, when everyone is watching.

Airball was definitely a knock on his clutchness factor, even though it's still overwhelmingly in his favor. Poor shot selection, nerves got to him, still young, etc. But regardless, he probly should get some criticism for that.

Lebron has only scored 24 of the cavs last 25 points. If the guy was a true clutch player he would have scored that other point. Guy doesn't have any drive at all.

LeBron playing 1 on 5 and Pavlovic wasting possessions, but he's still keeping the Cavs in this game.

guy's awful.

no heart for James at all. too scared to take shots at the end of a game.

only makes them when his team is ahead too.
