I was at the Bears game in '85 and I still hate the guy for ruining the undefeated season. :wall: :lmao:
And as a 'phin phan since the '72 season, I went from having a man-crush on him to falling head over heels in love with him on that day. He went from *a* favorite Dolphin player to *my all time favorite* Dolphin player.
Same. Marino and Fouts are 2 of my all-time favorites. Feel like I have to throw Fouts in there too - used to love when the 2 would play each other. And IMO Fouts was great because of his accuracy too, not just the arm. Loved that guy - still wish he was a Bear!Letowich doesn't belong in the same conversation as those 2.

The Fouts-Woodley "longest game ever" game was one of the best games I ever saw - wasn't that the game with the hook and ladder to Tony Nathan?

Now we are getting to when I was pretty young, but assuming I remember correctly that was the game that made me trade for a Dan Fouts card. :) Was that the game played at SD that there was ungodly points scored and something like 900 yards of passing total between them? That play set up the winning score or was the winning score? We are talking 7 years old here.  I never got to watch too many games involving the Chargers living in Chicago, but they are #2 or #3 on teams I root for [ 1) Bears 2) Dolphins 3) Chargers ].

I was a big Chargers fan and that Chargers-Dolphins playoff game was the greatest game I ever saw. Kellen Winslow was the biggest hero of that game. BTW, for me Winslow was the greatest TE ever!

Well, that's fine simey, but I have no idea what you are disagreeing with - that Leftwich has a better deep ball? If so, you have absolutely no numbers to support your belief.
You know something Marc, you lack tact when people disagree with you. As a matter fact, you can be downright pompous. I don't need to dish out numbers or stats, I've seen Garrard play a lot with my own eyes. I'll leave it at that.
 i know, i know, i am not adding anything constructive...but still
go get me a beer, sugarballs.

The hook and ladder game was in Miami. I think the 900 yard game was a playoff game in SD.
