I predict he will be in my lineup next week as the Chargers travel to SF. I've got bye week issues and I suspect he will have a nice game as he will get his share of the carries with the game being decided early. No denying the kid is a beast.
i hate to say it, but i have both and wish one would get injured. this is driving me nuts!! the best back in the nfl in a rbbc.....

I'm not sure I'd be willing to part with Turner. Even when he's not starting he's still capable of putting up numbers better than some starting RB's.

I'm guessing with the rest of the team to San Francisco.If you're talking about next year, the price tag seems overly prohibitive, but it seems increasingly forseeable that a team out there may willing to pay the price.

Honestly he has proven he is better then Tomlinson , each time he comes he plays better then Tomlinson ( This season i mean , did Tomlinson lost a step ) or is Turner a better back.
I would love to see him play a full game and not a the end of the season , just to see what he has got on the long run.

If i had Turner i woould not even consider trading him staright up for Ward ( In a dynasty or redraft i would not )

If i was the Chargers i would tradt LT before trading Turner , Lt slowed down considerably this season and could be on his way down . So next season you trade LT and keep Turner.someone offered me LT ( in a dynasty league ) for Mcgahee and Addai i told him to keep his old stock .

I highly doubt they'd consider trading LT. Besides, his contract would make it tough regardless. Turner would be more easily tradable - if he winds up accepting the 1st/3rd tender.

I am in a 2 player keeper league. I am getting my butt handed to me on a weekly basis. I know that after a 1-7 start (doubleheader games) I should start looking to seriously upgrade or go after keeper. My team is not strong but Michael "the Burner" Turner is one guy I almost consider untradeable. Even if the LT2 owner were to come a knockin, he'd have to pay a handsome price for Turner.
I guess I am banking on his becoming a starter on another team next season, and there are certainly going to be obstacles to that happening. But that upside of Burner starting in a place like Denver is so high, I can't find it in me to part with him.

I love what I'm seeing with Turner. I think he'll almost certainly end up a starter somewhere next season. I had someone offer me Deuce McAllister straight up for him in a keeper league and I turned it down. Turner is feeling a lot like LJ from last season. If LT were to go down, I think that Turner would instantly be a top 5 RB.
He's a restricted free agent at the end of this year and an unrestricted free agent in 2008.
I don't think the franchise tag has ever been used on a restricted free agent, but I wouldn't rule out using it on Turner next year. That would bring in two firsts if the Chargers don't match another team's offer rather than a first and a third. (But the Chargers have lots of cap room, so I would like to see them match any offers. They carried both Rivers and Brees for a few years, so why not both Tomlinson and Turner?)

A guy in my dynasty league is walking a THIN LINE. His rb's are LT/Jamal/ and R.Droughans. Doesnt have anyone cuffed. But he has some nice wr's AJ/Plax S,Moss A.Bryant.
Turner has outscored both of Jamal and Droughans and I told him if he wants Turner i would give him Turner and Cotchery for AJ.
He laffed and said NO!!!!!!!! also said Turner is nothing to him other than a cuff and is only a "CHANGE OF PACE RB" lol lol lol....
So i guess i will hold him, as i like him for the future and if LT does go down.......................then you all know what he would be then.
Also I have seen Turner traded for ROY WILLIAMS and another time for PLAX.
so he has high trade value dynasty/redraft.

No wonder he said no. Regardless of circumstance, Cotchery and Turner for Andre Johnson is a terrible rip-off. By the way, it is Droughns (one syllable) and not Drough-ANS.

He needs to average about 60 yards per game over the next 12 to get to a thousand. It will be tough for him as second fiddle, but certainly not out of the realm of possibility if the defense continues to play extremely well and keep the team in games. And averaging nearly 7 yards per carry doesn't hurt either.

believe me, the chargers didnt want to carry both rivers and brees, brees made it too hard when he broke out-they were looking to dump before that and as soon as they had the chance they did. the team is cheap and wont carry to RB1 contracts unless they start to have doubts about LT2- so maybe they would hold on to turner and lt2 to figure things out.Maurile Tremblay said:
