Little help, please? (1 Viewer)

I am having difficulty finding a place to look up a receivers stats for dropped balls per season. I would like to be able to look at these numbers to determine which percentage of missed completion opportunities are due to poor throws by QBs and which are due to bad hands on the receivers part.

Sorry if it is right under my nose, but I haven't found it anywhere yet.

TIA

Link to dropped passes but if you go to the front page you can look up all sorts of stats by player.http://snap.stats.com/stats/nflinfo/leader...k=232&Submit=Go

Thanks a bunch!

The biggest "dropper" is Chris Chambers. Who dropped eight passes, including one drop that could have won his team the division, ouch.

Accurate, but a tad misleading. The better method is to look at reception % of targets.

Yes, Chambers and Plax are at the top there too.

2005 WR Targets

For me, 60%+ is good.

67%+ is excellent.

50-60%, average.

under 50%,

I agree, but targets and receptions were easy stats for me to find...I simply asked for this info to discover the percentage of "missed" receptions that I could attribute to the WR alone. Thanks for the stats guys.

Not sure if it's better. There's something funky in the difference Jeff. I don't recall exactly but I think one is "catchable balls only" and the other is not. Maybe Drinen or Yudkin knows for sure.

No surprise. If Chambers didn't have so many drops, he'd be 1st in Fantasy Rankings, easy. KC Joyner said Chambers dropped a potential 310 yards.

I've already sworn off Burress in fantasy, he's too maddening to have on my team.
