LT is my Clear #1 (1 Viewer)

You guys are confusing me. And scaring me. I have the #1 and draft in the morning. I wish I could trade down to #3.
What were you planning to do before you read this thread? What did you read here that makes you question it?..We'll talk you down off the ledge. ;)
Well, not that Bass has posted his S-Jax#1 thread he may be going there. :lmao:
Now that you mention it, there is more campaigning in here today than the Lieberman-Lamont race. :D

Leiberman would win. LaMont is way slow.

Isn't this your main point regarding the sudden drop in LJ's value? I mean this is how you started the thread...

1) KC line getting owned by the G-Men and Roaf stating he's not coming back.

Given the overall strength of the Chiefs O-line over the past several years, it just seems like an awful lot to deduce from half of an exhibition game. But hey... that's just me.
I had concerns regarding the O-Line before the game and I voiced those concerns in several Roaf threads. This isn't about 1/2 of a game. I'm too good for the type of short-sighted analysis you're insinuating.
LHUCKS... a legend in his own mind.

A moment of fantasy clarity has struck me tonight1) KC line getting owned by the G-Men and Roaf stating he's not coming back.2) Alexander's scoring heavily dependent on record breaking TD numbers.3) LT consistently scoring in the top 3 year in and year out and Rivers looking like he'll be able to keep the defense somewhat honest.LTAlexanderLJwrite it down. :football:
LT = Woodrow's 1st selection in our staff league

Also you cannot discount the loss of Richardson. I just feel LJ has little chance to repeat that type of PPG from last year. Where I feel like LT can improve.

Your choice Lhucks...hear me now, believe me later or believe me now, proper later.I hope you noted Turner's run tonite and get used to him chewing up yards previously destined for LT. San Diego will try to alleviate the wear factor this year.

That cements LT not finishing #1 this year.

You have now broken the record for stalking posts...I would put you back on ignore, but I kind of like having a groupie. :D

Of course you like the idea of having a groupie(your ego needs anything it can get) but I'm not it. Even if you put me back on ignore it wouldn't work. Ask Big Score about that. :lmao:

John Clayton was just on ESPN Radio's FF show. The host led into this discussion by saying that he definitely rated the top three backs LJ, SA, LT2.

Clayton said he didn't see it that way at all. He said you have to take Tomlinson first because he's unquestionably the most talented back in the league. He's the only guy who has the potential for 1800 yards or 100 catches or both.

He said it was hard to argue with Alexander's production the last two years, but he just doesn't have Tomlinson's stuff and he's not as versatile. He felt the dropoff at LG was largely insignificant.

He said that the loss of Roaf was critical for LJ. He referred back to a game that Roaf got injured in last year. Apparently they were averaging almost ten yards per carry before the injury and only 2.8 after it. He stated that Roaf is simply that good, and Turley isn't nearly that good even if he's not underweight.

He went on to say that he would probably go with Stephen Jackson fourth because of all the high-quality, injury-free backs that remain, Jackson is the only one who won't be sharing carries.

Tomlinson is risky as the #3 pick. No chance hes thje #1 this year.
Aren't you the guy that said Drew Bledsoe was underrated coming into 2006? PAC-10 = speed.
I should have said the Cowboys QB, my basic premise was that every TO team is top 5 in passing and that last year the Cowboys put up unexpectedly strong passing numbers.I pretty much got that one right, as I did handcuff Bledsoe in most leagues...just not in the staff v. board. :lmao: Also, I make a call on every player, nobody is right on every one...I just happen to be right more often than most. ;)

Good deal, I enjoyed your overrated/underrated threads. Keep up the good work.

To be fair to LHUCKS, if he made the right call with Tomlinson in the first round then making the wrong call in the eighth round(or later) probably didn't hurt him too much. Besides, I'm sure he just picked up Philip Rivers as a FA to replace Bledsoe anyway.
