Mad Max: Fury Road (1 Viewer)

The initial DVD release looks a little lacking. I think I'll wait for whatever special edition comes out for the holidays.

I rented it via Amazon instead, and the third viewing confirmed Fury Road's place among the action movie elite. Every frame looks like a work of art.

 
I will buy it now and later because Miller deserves my money for making such a spectacular movie.

 
One week limited engagement in Imax 3D starting a week from today.

Put this on my ipad for a plane watching. Got through about 90 minutes and shut it off. I figured I'd gotten the point.

A car chase in the desert with bald guys. Not really seeing the appeal here or how this got so many good reviews.

Pretty neat experience I bet, watching this movie on your iPad in an airplane. Seems ideal imo

Only got 85 minutes in, on my iWatch during a conference call.

 
Only got 72 minutes into the audio version while listening on my walkman when I was at the Orioles game. Bunch of vroom, vromm and crash, crash. I don't get what the fuss for this movie was all about, seemed pretty stupid to me.

A film that was great to look at on the screen and you don't get what the fuss was about while listening to the audio version while at a baseball game

If I recall the original awful movie the plot goes something like this? Drive down that road. Turn around. Drive back.

Did I miss anything?

 
Watched again on a plane on a ####ty screen. Was still fantastic.

Everyone has different taste...but if you don't enjoy this movie you are not to be trusted.

 
To me it was the hobbit on sand. Go off in one direction. Fight some battle. Win. Drive more. Fight a battle, win. Etc.

If a directional action film is your thing then I'm sure you loved it. The stunts were really well done in a empire strikes back type old school quality.

This is like reading the children's abridged version of a classic novel like Gulliver's Travels and making a judgment on the story as a whole.

I have a feeling that's a good thing for me.

 
I watched it on my 65' on blu ray.

I enjoyed it. I can only imagine how great it was in the theatres. Bummed I missed that

I totally get not liking it on a small screen but I'll never get people who didn't like it in the theater. I usually despise action movies (Transformers, Godzilla, Pacific Rim, etc.) all blow but this is what an action movie should be.

I watched it on my galaxy and it was awesome. Need to sit down and watch again on an actual TV.
