ETA: Which I'm down with. We have no reasonable hope for good rank rewards on a crystal event now.

I kinda agree with this. Drains gold quickly so we'd really have to open a lot of other crystals for gold and ISOETA: not saying that we should or shouldn't, just that it's probably the only chance we have of killing the level up event.

To be honest I don't think it'll phase me one bit at this point. I had a blast opening so many today and had some great payouts. And once the event comes I have my 4* to open, as do many others. In your face kabam!
 
Opened 79 crystals, got a 4* Rocket and seven 3*'s. Drop rate opening 10 at a time seemed better than individual spinning, but less fun. Also got 3 or 4 crystal offers that I partook in.

Added and duped WW2 Cap, Hulkbuster & Thor (strange how that happens), added Magneto, rest dupes. Have a few more 4* crystals now.

 
To add a data point, I only had time to get to almost exactly 400k in the 4* and I ended up 29,053 place. However, I still got 2 PHC's and 100 4* Shards!

Either the pool of players greatly increased or these new payouts are a lot better. Probably a combo of the two.

I was in the exact same boat
 
Sky said that something around 1.8 million got 4* storm. If it stays in that area then 4*s are once again attainable from arenas which is cool.

 
I think the drop rate of 3-star heroes from PHCs is 10%. Seems like everyone is always right around that as they open a lot.

 
Just opened 38 PHCs and got one 3* and no 4*. What a joke. I feel like out of my last 100 PHCs I have only gotten maybe three 3*

This was basically me. I had around 40 PHC, awakened my 3* Starlord so that was good, then duped Gamora and Spidey, and got a 3* Cyclops. Everything else was 2*

 
I opened around 80 PHC I think, duped Gamora, got new The Vision, Hulkbuster, Racoon, Cyclops, Black Widow (can't ##### about my lack of Tech now)

Armament was a 3* Black Panther dupe

Dailies got me a 3* Colossus dupe

4* arena I had 346k which was good for 31673 and the 30%-60% bracket

2* arena I had 116k which was good for 56038 and the 30-60 bracket as well.

 
I want to add a tab to the spreadsheet later so we can enter and track arena results. Someone remind me to do that later. :hifive:

 
Just took down a 3500 Black Widow with my 1500 Puny, and just missed a 3200 Gamora with 1500 SW, by far my most lopsided victory. Maybe this finally maxing out my 3* was worth it. The Puny win got me to 150054 points in Cornucopia just in time.

To get the Magneto war hammer we are just under pace. After almost 4 days we are just over 1.16m, over 7 days that would get us just over 2m.

 
I had right at 400K in the 4-star Arena and got the 2 PHC prize. If the 4-star cutoff is really that generous I might try harder this time.

I think the 4* arena is going to have a large number off players hit the 200k mark, increasing the pool. I recall having just over 200k on a new champ arena a few weeks back and finishing around 27k. Those shard rewards are going to bring the number of players way up, but not add to the top, IMO.

Yeah...I can get that high if I really tried and it wouldn't cost that many credits...I have time during the week, so I guess I should try.

 
Is Unstoppable Colossus now the best champ in the game?

Back opponent in to the corner, L1 to go unstoppable, spam his quick heavies, another L1 to unstoppable. Just destroyed an equal ranked opponent with this.

I do not like facing UC and Juggs if they are awakened. Even if you evade the special attacks, now you need to evade an Unstoppable trigger.

 
Since you guys are having so much fun discussing numbers, how about these:

Before we went crystal and level up crazy, we were at almost exactly 990k PI as an alliance. As I type this, we sit at 1,070,404. That's an 8% increase in like 30 hours. Pretty damn good if you ask me.

I actually think they're a lot easier to fight now. It removed the randomness of unstoppable, now you know exactly when it's coming.

They are still really hard to fight but atleast it feels fair now. If they win they deserved it. Rather than the gods of luck giving them a win.

 
I'm really kinda excited about hopefully getting 4* Storm. Currently sitting at 350k points. Still have one more session later tonight so I should end the first half day at 465k. Which puts me way ahead of pace to get her assuming similar numbers as last time. And that's with 0 units spent.

With our recent crystal opening day and now this I haven't been this energized about this game in months.

I read that earlier. Can't believe hulkbuster is up there!!!!!! /sarcasm

Cyclops is ok, just very boring and vanilla.

Don't get the winter soldier hate, he's a decent champ, but I guess there's gotta be one worst skill and he gets it by default.

Science I guess rhino or abomination by default. Don't really mind either of them.

Ronan I agree.

Mystic I'd say maybe juggernaut.

I think the results also had Ronan at like 60% of the overall votes, and hulkbuster was also bottom 3.

 
Last night the "Clam Max" button decided to #### me. I opened some of my regular quest crystals to get ISO, sorted my overflow in reverse expiration, so the 70 brand new ISO would be the top of the list. Hit Claim Max, and it claimed the generic ones like I wanted. Went back to reload with some more, only it took from the regular order, so I got all Tech ISo instead of the generic ones. Decided to level all my new Tech guys to 1/10. Went back a third time thinking maybe I really didn't reverse sort, sure enough again it grabbed all Tech ISO instead.

 
Seems like "claim max" has a mind of its own. Wish they'd let us filter out all class ISO and claim just the basic.

 
Is it worth selling off a 2* or 3* Hulkbuster if you have another tech champ to focus on? I put some ISO into HB, but he's just too clunky to use. Wondering if anyone here has done the same and just sold off a champ because they never made it to the fighting rotation.

I sold my awakened 3* Hulkbuster so that I would have the tech iso to Max out my newly awakened 3* Starlord.

 
The rewards for this complete event are stupid with everyone hammering the Magneto quests. Finishing the final maps gets you 2000 or 3000 points. THe first reward is at 3000, second at 10k. So only one person may get the first reward due to their stupid "You haven't contributed to this reward" thing.

Also, dupe day is today. I have a bunch of antmans saved. Do we want to hold, or just open whatever PHC we have earned the last few days?
