At most I'd say wait til you open your next 4* and see if you dupe one then go from there.

You should request a refund through the Apple/Google stores. I have heard from other players that the 5* are not stronger than a 4/40 so I know better, but that announcement is misleading and makes them sound much stronger than they are. Once they release the items to level them further they will obviously be stronger, but who knows if/when they will do that and given the impossible nature of T4 Class Cats they may make them only obtainable to a select few.

Even in the first run of this game I refused to pay a cent towards it, but between the old days when Hulk would buy units to get us over the hump in the dup event, and now this, I may need to put in money to get a gifting badge and sent you something.

If you're considering buying any items over the next two weeks ( especially cores for masteries ), we could check in here to see if there are any others looking to do the same.
Matching gifts = the same number of units spent per person, but we advance the event score. For example, I'm considering opening double edge, which will cost me 1100 units for the two carbo cores. If anyone else in the alliance is looking for two carbo cores ( or two guys looking for one each ) gifting them will be a great way to hit some of the milestones at no additional cost than spending the same amount on ourselves.

I am likely going to do Recovery as my next mastery which is 6 Stony Cores at 135 units each, or 810 units. If you can think of a way to do this and have it make sense for us, let me know.
Lol, same here. Spent way too much over the summer on 4* crystals because I got impatient. If I had waited a few months, sharts came along and 4*'s are everywhere

Same boat as Finkle...if they come up with a Canadian Boxing Day deal that gives me some T4s for buying that god forsaken badge I may fold though if I'm drunk enough.

For now this is my thought as well. When I started playing I decided I wasn't going to put any money into it, now that I have seen how Kabam treats their customers I am even less inclined to give them any of my money. Hulk, thanks for your Hollliday gifts though.

They do still have the shard deal, but knowing I could've gotten a T4 on Black Friday makes me hard pressed to buy that now, as it would just make me extra bitter.

There is NO PRESSURE to gift anything.
If you can though, sending out a 5 unit duel credit nets you 265 units + several other goodies.
If you don't have the badge, no worries.
If you're on the fence about ever buying $30 worth of units, now is the time to do it though, because this is the best return you'll see on that $30.

Finally finished with coulson, some of those matches were quite a grind. Fist was same as the others and got solo'd. Cage gave me a lot of trouble this time for some reason, took 3? revives and a lot of aggregation. Ronan took the most revives since I had to use Ms Marvel due to poison, and obviously doesn't regen. Ultron, Kang and Thanos were all pretty easy, think I used two revives between the three of them. The thanos fight may have been the easiest one, but it tested your patience like no fight I've had since ROL wolverine. Anywho, it's done and I got some sweet rewards, and will now have 2 4* crystals tomorrow, 4* hulkbuster, and another champ to take to 4/40.

Is it just me, or do Kabam's servers seems to blow up about every third 3v3 tournament?
Haven't been able to get on in an hour. There goes any hope of me hitting the standard 4* most likely, since I didn't go mad grinding Christmas day.

I'm still a class t3 short, but I need to decide who to rank up with my T4s.
My non dup options are Wolvy, Ultron, Thor, Gamora, and Yellow Jacket, but I'd prefer to rank up a dup.
For dups, I've got Cage, Fist, and a double duped Rocket.
I prefer Cages fighting style and I love that he is a tank with the indestructible ability. He stacks exhaustion which isn't great for arenas but who really cares as it all comes down to quest performance. So I'm leaning that way.

I have no idea how Cage is since I don't have him, but he would probably be top pick since you like him and he is a tank which should be nice for AQ. Other than that, Ultron is solid all-around and a favorite for most people in AQ. Wolverine is solid especially when duped, and I really love YJ

I've also never used Cage, but I've done a 180 on Ultron and am suggesting everyone take him (even unduped) to 4/40 ahead of probably everyone except Strange.
Eventually we're going to advance to map 4 or 5, where I think all of Ultron's abilities and immunities count for more. So ranking him is a safe long-term play.

On Map 4/5 hard hitters are what you need. I'm fighting against 6-12k opponents, and they're just regular opponents.
You really need to build a team for the lanes you take (definitely need lane assignments because there are 8 lanes per section).
Types of lanes:
Heal block + 100% health & attack
Need hard hitters with good blocking. Depends on the opponent who you should bring. If one has stacked armor you need one like a duped Thor.
Poison + heal block
MM/BB are a good choices, Ultron less since he doesn't regen due to heal block. L3 takes too long, 3 min for these fights can be short. And Magneto is on that lane.
Bleed + 100% health & attack
WP doesn't help here, tried it several times. 80-90% health lost without getting hit due to the long fights.
Ultron has his advantages here.
125-200% attack & health
Most champs are a good choice. Really make sure you don't get hit. And if you block, make sure they're good blockers.
Most used champs in my alliance are:
- Strange
- Cap / Cap WWII
- Ms Marvel
- Scarlet Witch
- Thor
- very few BW/DD only for those science lanes
(None is using Ultron/SIM/IM/Hulk/Electro in AQ atm. Only 1 SL in all 3 groups)
Kabam is really spamming deals now. I need 1 more t4 mystic, but paying 50 bucks for a t4 deal and 83% chance it's something different doesn't feel right lol. Got a decent units deal (3x TS briefcase). So i can pay 50 bucks for some units and a t4 crystal, or 30 bucks for 2550 units. I don't really need the units...

We always score between 450k and 700k. Give us the 6-20% rewards. My advice: more points won't get you (much) better rewards. Don't score points to score more points, if it happens great, but don't spend to just get more points. Expensive points that would be. Better to save some for next SA imo.
Here we have quite a lot of ppl who spend a bit, and 70% of us win 4*'s every arena so a lot of duping, leveling and ranking points. Some even win featured champs every now and then.
Here i'm just a regular player. Team rating (125k) is below average, top 3-5 in AQ BG, arena events top 10 and other events 10-25.

I'd guess somewhere around 70-80% of the alliances do maps 1-3 so the number of ultrons used in those make him a top 5 used champ.

I personally hate Magneto, BUT he has some excellent synergies. You're on your way to building a perfect block team.

Yeah but what good is a 4* Magento Marvel Now and a 4* Magneto? 2 4* mutants would be bad enough, but the same damn one, but not the same enough to dupe? SUCKS.
