"Don't grumble, give a whistle!"
Political? Given the number of deaths by gun that we have to deal with as a society as opposed to all of those deaths by box cutter I can sleep at nights...Ok, so you're only against deaths being used for political agendas when it doesn't match your political agenda. Got it.No, because enough gun owners apparently don't know how to control their guns. Damn things keep ending up in the hands of people who kill people.Do you equally condemn those that quickly use a death to make pro-gun control statements?I see nothing wrong with your post. Don't worry about what others think. Low numbers don't always mean they are right.Stop what? You're the one making assumptions.Stop.What did I do? I posted nothing but facts.glock said:Soooo, this poor girls death becomes fodder for FFA comedy because she was sliced and diced to death with a box cutter rather than dying at the hands of some gunman.
Nicely played, OP. :(
Truth be told, when I first heard about this story, I assumed the kid used a gun to commit the crime. After the shootings in Sparks NV, the day before, I again was asking "where are these kids getting guns to commit crimes" It wasn't until I read this article that I found out a gun was not used.
I am flattered that you think I control the FFA fodder. I don't. But thanks anyway.
Did you read the rest of my post, or where you too busy bolding out the first line? How DARE you!
KC- you posted this article as "Massachusetts teacher killed by student. No gun used."
If "No gun used" wasn't your effort to make a "pro-gun" statement in a thread about a poor 24 year old teacher who died a horrible death at the hands of her killer, than mon apologies.
It kinda wound up going that route...
Edited to add that I for one wouldn't go posting threads that make use of people's untimely demises just to score political points. It's kinda douchey. So, yea, I'd be inclined to point that out in any thread.
