Oh, I get it. If he does it's funny. It's okay to laugh and have fun once in a while.
Really? You are an easy one to please. The point I am trying to make is....if TO/Moss picked up the phone, CBS pregame would still be talking about it.I thought it was hilarious.
It was funny and it would have been funny if TO/Moss had done it. It's actually even funnier coming from McNabb because it doesn't fit his profile.Really? You are an easy one to please. The point I am trying to make is....if TO/Moss picked up the phone, CBS pregame would still be talking about it.I thought it was hilarious.
very funnynot like he blindsided Coughlin with it or insulted someone's motherI thought it was hilarious.
OK.Jerkweed move.Should have been disqualified and the Eagles should have been punished with an automatic forfeit. That kind of bushleague stuff just shouldn't be done by a QB.
I think that was sarcasm.OK.Jerkweed move.Should have been disqualified and the Eagles should have been punished with an automatic forfeit. That kind of bushleague stuff just shouldn't be done by a QB.
I was definitely lolling with ya To the OP: seriously? he picked up a ####### phone for 0.5 seconds.Am I the only one who was LOLing?

Harmless? The guy's team is up by two scores, on the road ... and instead of having a third and one, WITH THE CLOCK RUNNING, he takes a fifteen yard penalty, STOPS THE CLOCK, and makes it third and SIXTEEN.He's an absolute j_agg-off.Next time a race baiting buffoon like Deion Sanders tries to insinuate that it's a racial thing in regards to McNabb not being afforded the love/respect that Brady and Peyton are given, look no further than this POS manuever by McNabb.Could you imagine either of those guys being that effing stupid?McNabb's a proven winner ... operates in a tough market ... and is a gifted player ....But the guy is dumb as a sock full of wooden nickels.Harmless. It wasn't the most sportsmanlike thing of all time, but compared to the stuff we see every week in the NFL, it was completely harmless.
I'm not spazzing out over it. Just saying...I have always hated McNabb and I thought it weak and poor sportsmanship.I was definitely lolling with ya To the OP: seriously?Am I the only one who was LOLing?
Well there you go.I'm not spazzing out over it. Just saying...I have always hated McNabbI was definitely lolling with ya To the OP: seriously?Am I the only one who was LOLing?
Well, at least you're admitting you are biased here.I'm not spazzing out over it. Just saying...I have always hated McNabb and I thought it weak and poor sportsmanship.I was definitely lolling with ya To the OP: seriously?Am I the only one who was LOLing?
I'm not hiding the fact I don't like him. His gay sideline celebrations, the moon walk, "next question", picking up the phone. Oh and the fact that he has no heart and barfed in the biggest game of his career. Then denied it.Well there you go.I'm not spazzing out over it. Just saying...I have always hated McNabbI was definitely lolling with ya To the OP: seriously?Am I the only one who was LOLing?
Well as much I as I hate him, I'll give him credit for admitting it.McNabb knows that was a bush league move, he said as much after the game. Do I wish he hadn't done that? Yeah. But at the end of the day it was that same passion and hatred for the Giants that led to the win, so I'll take it.
Sure.Well, at least you're admitting you are biased here.I'm not spazzing out over it. Just saying...I have always hated McNabb and I thought it weak and poor sportsmanship.I was definitely lolling with ya To the OP: seriously?Am I the only one who was LOLing?
Thanks!!!My condolences to the OP for the Cowboys' underwhelming performance this year.
thisNo doubt it was a stupid move, McNabb admitted as much after the game and regretted doing it. Any time you get your team a 15 yard penalty, you are putting yourself ahead of your team.I figure it was a spur of the moment thing (i.e. not premeditated in the least), and it's certainly easy to understand McNabb's elation at winning the game after the stuff he's put up with this year - and it's not like he's known for doing that kind of stuff. So I'm not defending it in the least... just saying that I mostly give him a pass on this one, and generally I can't stand show-off, look at me type players and actions.
He has heart. It's the same reason he led the Eagles to the position they're in (with help from the DEF), and the same reason he picked up the phone. Same reason he always has a smile on his face, dances on the sidelines and enjoys the game, almost no matter what is going on in the game. Some guys show it with seriousness, some show it with more fun. McNabb has fun with it and he's in ANOTHER NFCCG. Eli/Romo/etc are more serious. They're at home. How can you fault McNabb for loving the game, having fun with it, and when the game is really going his way, showing it off loud/proud.I'm not hiding the fact I don't like him.
McNabb himself has said it wasn't the right thing to do.Holy crap some people are freaking sensitive.I'm sorry, did I offend you guys by typing out the word "crap"?The Cowboys/Giants/Redskins/whoever you're bitter about being out of the playoffs lost. Get over it and quit being such a crybaby.
Same here. I've read the whole thread but I still don't understand what happened. How did he pick up a phone on the Giants sideline?Didn't see the game...what happened?
McNabb got run OB on the Giant's sideline. While there he coincidentally slowed down by the Giants phone. He then picked the phone up for about a second and set it back down. Was flagged for 15 yds for unsportsmanlike conduct.Ok, so again, what happened?
Basically nothing. Bankerguy's thread is more ridiculous than McNabb's phone pick-up.Ok, so again, what happened?
