McNabb (1 Viewer)

He could have overheard secret defensive plays being called by the Giants against his team. He should definitely be suspended for at least 1 game. I'd prefer the team's next 8, starting with this postseason and rolling into next season. The Eagles should probably also have to give up their draft pick, this is the exact same kind of infringement as Spygate was... he was basically listening in on the other team's headset, stealing the calls. And a $25,000 personal fine on McNabb and a $500,000 fine on the Eagles. If Godell doesn't have the stones to forfeit the game, which he should.

Anyway, it's a common debate technique to exaggerate a claim to make it seem ludicrous. My girlfriend does it all the time.

The guy can't help himself he is a complete knuckle head. A fine will be coming his way. That kind of stuff can start a riot type fight. You should never show up the opposing team like that. Terrible sportsmanship. Now worries cause Philly is not beating the Ravens or Pitt they have a shot vs Arz.

I don't want to antagonize other fans, but if McNabb pulled that crap on the sidelines of a couple of certain teams, he might not have made it back onto the field in one piece.

The few of you who are calling for him to be benched, suspended, or worse, you have some serious issues.

I hate the Eagles and I thought it was funny as hell. He got the penalty, and admitted it was stupid. Had it been a close game, that's one thing.

I'm too lazy to re-read but I think only one person said anything like that was clearly (at least to me) using very tongue in cheek exaggeration.I think most everyone criticizing McNabb (including Troy Aikman, Joe Buck, the OP and McNabb himself) is saying pretty much the same thing: It's not the biggest deal, but it was a idiotic, bush league and a vet like McNabb should know better and show more class.

Is it just me or is it uber-satisfying to see dudes with Cowboy emblems as avatars, whining like little babies and wishing the Eagles ill will?

You can't use that language on national tv. I'm not so sure they didn't say it off the air.

LOL. The shark pool must have the biggest collection of whiners on the Internet. I have no favorite team or player. I just usually root for whomever the shark pool is incessently hitching about that season. Never thought I'd find myself rooting for the Patriots til I hung out around here last season.

Yeah, maybe not the best way to start a thread calling him a POS. Oh well. I still don't like the dude and it was bush league. Could you imagine Joe Montana doing that?

I'll take a bush league quarterback with ten playoff wins over a non-bush league pretty boy with ZERO.

Off season for that right now but unless the Birds win it all this little run means squat. You know MChoke is going to blow it.

Well at least you can somewhat admit it was bush league.I'm not here to debate Dallas vs Philly. We can do that elsewhere.

Again get Philly gets their thrill by beating the Cowboys and making small little runs to the NFC Championships games while Cowboys fans get excited when they win it all. How old are you cause you might not be around when they finally get it done.

Nope cause next year we have as good of a chance as anyone. At least I have a day to live off you can only hope to have them days to remember.

Your team hasn't won a playoff game since drug testing. That 5 has rotted out, been tossed and is now rusting. Get a new shtick, that ones worn out.

Nope not bitter I am just that confident that Philly will not win, I talk my talk before it happens and if I am wrong what's the big deal. I will admit it. I call it like I see it and MCnabb is a choker. Let's see if he can prove me wrong. Good luck Birds just hope and pray that you do not have to face the Ravens if you get in there.

They can't ever be taken away you would not know cause you do not have one. Sorry dude.

Thought it was hilarious. A couple things to add - he definitely yelled into it, said something like "HELP!" When asked about it after the game, Andy Reid acted as if he didn't know it happened.

Did we give up when the German's bombed Pearl Harbor? NO! All kidding aside, I think each team has a decent shot at the title. Even the Cards. And to MM, I was embarrassed of the Steelers in week 2 and would be nervous to play the Eagles in the Bowl (if we are fortunate enough to make it). As painful as that is to write.

Hmmm. Seems to me I've seen Garcia, Orton, and Romo choke in week 17. Ryan, P. Manning, Jackson, and Pennington choke last week. And Collins, Delhomme, Manning, and Rivers choke this week. Mcnabb had a chance to choke every single one of those weeks and keeps rolling along. And Romo's had a great seat in front of his flat screen to watch him play.

There should really be a board rule against any teams' fans who have Tony Romo at quarterback ever muttering the word 'choker'. It just sounds ridiculous.

;) Im not one to kick someone while theyre down and I do think the Boys have some great talent, but Romo at least should be discussed in the top 5 choking QBs of all time thus far. Simply horrible. He needs to get Jessica out of his mind (and off of his face).

Oh man. After the Eagles win today, I didn't think I could get any happier. Realizing just how much it hurts Cowboy fans has definitely taken it up a notch.

Thank you so much!

By the way I live in Baltimore and realLt started watching football closely when the Colts left and became a bigtime Cowboys fan then and ever sense but I still love my hometown and have a stake in if they win and if you ask me I would be very worried about Ray Ray and the boys cause they aint playing and will come in to your house and steal you. So why don't you worry about that instead of a Cowboys fan.

Really it does not hurt me. That is laughable. It is a game. Philly if you win I will be pissed but I doubt I have to worry as of now I am not worried.

You cant have your cake and eat it too. Just pick a team and stick with it. And read some of the other threads. If there is one team I dont want to play next week, its the Ravens. But thats not what were talking about here.

You know what is funny is if I did not come around cause the Cowboys lost I would be called a coward now that I am here and not hiding it is because I am mad and bitter that they lost. Laughable!! I am just here saying I think Philly comes up short ONCE again and Mcnabb will once again choke.

Never said I was a Raven just said I live in Baltimore and will be rooting for them nothing wrong with that. I know you are scared to death of the Ravens but for real that is the Superbowl next Sunday and will be a game for the ages. The 2 NFC teams are laughable at best.

No one would have called you a coward for not coming into a McNabb thread to rip on him.
