Nope. I read that book. It's a great book.
I haven't see the movie yet nor read the second book. Hadn't heard of the second book, even. Paper Lion was recommended to me by a trusted friend as probably the greatest sports book this side of Cobb, which I could not get into, even though it was New Journalism, a style and era I love.& the movie starring Alan Alda
there was a follow up book, too - Mad Ducks & Bears
Plimpton was a treasure
Notice I said nothing about the book. The only thing I remember about the book is Plimpton's fondness for Alex Karras. I read it in my twenties. Anything I read in my twenties I read drunk. I can't remember specifics about anything.Damn...I know this is a bad game, but book reports and American Lit class here?
Tua fumbles in the RedZone, terrible pocket presence.
I may be the only one here old enough and a Lion fan to remember that
Defense will have to score at least onceDL trying to be a hero and pick it up

I agree, but that fat *** runs a 7 flat. He wasn't making it to the end zone, lolDefense will have to score at least once
I’m ready for some Bortles Ball![]()

Took em a good 30-count to throw the flag. What did he do?
Kamara what the hell was that? Right in front of the ref.
Kamara usually a mellow dude, surprised he fell for that trick
Maybe “book smart”, but not football smart. Already two days is when he could have sailed a pass well out of bounds."Book is smart"
